They still touring

There will always be a spark in KK somewhere. Just depends on what would bring it out.. cant think of anywhere other than Newcastle that would bring it out although I am a firm believe in the philosophy of never going back. Its never quite the same.
-
I think we'd bring the best out of him, again. Aye. This is his home.
-
I didnt see the game..... no one has mentioned how Owen played...
-
Even Spurs fans would probably agree that that was one of the goals of the season. Would doubt if they have seen a better one at WHL all season. Stunning shot.
-
hahaha Fucking top quality that. you must be very proud
-
Aye. Get well soon. Dont wish any ill health on the bloke. Would hope that no other fans would stoop so low either.
-
I remember the press at the time. I am sure I remember them saying that the Southampton fans gave him a cracking ovation when he got subbed. For me KK. With all the hype, for him to score the winner. Fucking story book stuff. Start of a beautiful relationship. Would get booked for that celebration now mind.

Here's hoping for a season of blunders by Sam if the net result if getting to the champions league final. Rafa's main fault is focusing more on Europe that the Premiership. I would be surprised if the Liverpool fans dont start getting restless if every season carries on like. You just know they dont want to get to Man U territory for not having won the league for so long. How long was it for Man U.... 25/26 years
-
Aye. I just heard on Talksport that there was load of stuff kicking off outside the ground. Best fans in the world eh ?
-
Unbelievable line from some prick who put a friend dying in between tonight an losing cup final to Man Utd as the worst moments of his life.. What the Fuck !!!
-
Nope, Brian kidd is the assistant there. I would be surprised if Robson doesnt find some role for him there.

the point being it seems his success seems less and less to do with Sam's renounced managerial abilities, and more down to who he employed. He employed a sports scientist, not joe bloggs the sports scientist. If he can't find another one, what does that really say about him in terms of skills? It's also about what he told his own chairman. I feel sad for Bolton in the same way I feel sad about Kevin Bond, and sad about Sheffield Utd, and sad about the FA and Owen. With a chairman like ours one day their will be so much axe grinding coming our way it will be unreal, and no doubt all will be playing the victim Agreed. I am not particularly keen on the potential bad PR this might give. I think thats one side of the club that is in desperate need of an overhaul. I think our Chariman is incapable if ever doing anything that will give us good press. All we can do is hope that once Sam is settled in, it kind of blows over and gets forgotten about. Of course Bolton wont do but, sadly because they arent high profile, the rest of the country probably will. Chances are, most people will say "well... you expect a manager to bring in his own staff" and just forget about it. With regards to employing the sports scientist, I can only hope that Sam isnt so arrogant to think that he can do it all on his own and that who ever he picks to do the job is bound to be perfect because he chosen him. I am putting my faith in the hope that he appreciates the benefits of having a good team of people around him. A quality of good manager is not just his direct abilities but also his ability to employ good people around him. Sam seems to be able to do that. And lets be honest, its easier to go for someone who you know rather than go through the whole process of finding someone knew. That just life. Given his position I bet we would all do it I do feel sorry for Bolton fans a little but I am sure, as Phil Gartside is obviously a very successful businessman, he will have made plenty of similar ruthless decisions that have upset and affected people. He wont be daft enough to know the score

f*** they're all out tonight anyhoo, yes i'm sure the process will be as complicated as the one above, what with no-one in football knowing anyone else and any old random being able to completely make up a CV for a career in [frankly whatever the f*** this blokes is supposed to be good at]. fuckit, let's just buy bolton football club and be done with it i thought your point was that you werent happy with him just bringing in someone he knows. Would you rather he brought in a top class bloke thats sitting on the dole twiddling his thumbs ? If your just feeling sad for Bolton then I cant reason with you.
-
do you even know what an interview process is? how the f*** would you like it if you were the bolton chairman right now? Or a Bolton fan even, selling them out big time is Uncle Sam And on the whole bringing people with you aspect, i've always been suspicious of the kinds of managers who always seem to take the same players round with them, I can't think of a top flight club with a manager like that currently. I do. Its where you accept either a few or many written applications from people who, on the whole, you do not know and have never met before. You may ask them to do a shitty Pyschometric test. You then interview each one and based on that first meeting and the test results, chose a selection to come back. Then maybe after 2nd interviews you may ask one or two of them to come back again. Eventually, you choose the one who has the best CV combined with the best interview. However, this is all a risk as, as I am sure know, some people are very very good interviewers, are great at writing a very good CV but shit at their job and in pressure situations. We dont need it and I am happy for Sam to choose to speak to someone who he know exactly how he works. Granted, interviewing totally different people may bring better success but who know. At the minute Sam needs solidity and security
-
Didnt come across like a whinging prima donna like most of them so for that he deserves our good wishes Best of Luck Sib.
-
I cant believe Vic would rather Sam interviewed a whole load of unknown people, of whom he has no idea of how they perform on a day to day basis, rather go with a tried, trusted and proven ex colleague. Its a time for Newcastle to become stable.... Not take more risks with unknown quantities.
-
Maybe he got pressed on by his missus' thumb once they found out a London club were interested.
-
His agent has probably put this out to spite FFS. Agents are wankers
-
Sam needs to be very careful how he approaches this. If its true that Owen is being touted around but he ends up being rejected by everyone then eventually, he is going to have to take his place in the Newcastle team again come the start of next season. This will be very bad for team/squad morale and coupled with the fact that he isnt going to be getting the adulation from the crowd that he should, it could all end up having a very negative effect one the club. The only option is to just let him go. As disappointing as it will be to lose a player of his calibre, he appears to be so selfish, he isnt going to be part of what we hope is Sam's new "Team" ethic
-
At least Hyppia might give us a goalscoring option from set pieces. Ah bliss... not had that in a while
-
Not an Arsenal type player at all. Be very surprised but I guess the press just aint going to sleep properly until he has left us. Wenger probably just said that he thinks Owen is a good player. Wankers. We will get lots of this now... going to be a lot of slow news days for them
-
The man should never kick a ball for England again. Vastly over-rated in an England shirt. Hasnt played well for England since the Greece game
-
I dont think we are currently in a position at the minute to buy anyone even close to the quality of Owen so if we lose him we are in the shit a bit. Be another couple of seasons before we are able to attract anyone of Owens level of ability again
-
Do we have to pay anyone some kind of a commission for being part of this gang. If so I cant see why they are looking for 50,00 plus attendances
