  1. If we don't make any more signings between now and the end of the transfer window, probably the most key player to where we finish this season. Worrying.
  2. That performance was very very worrying. It seems we've got no-one who can pass, no pace and no battle. It's just a very odd poor display so far. I know we're struggling with injuries but the team is playing like strangers that have already taken a dislike to each other - just awful.
  3. Been crying out for Colo in midfield, finally get what I've been asking for! Clearly he'll be shite now. :colo:
  4. Yeah because English and Scottish people have much better attitudes. Joey Barton and Willie Mckay are like Angels in the North.
  5. Another midfielder with no legs is not what we need, O'Hara too similar to Guthrie and Barton in my opinion.
  6. Trialist F doesn't have any end product. Fair enough he beats 6 players and puts the ball into the box, but no-one attacks it so it's his fault.

    There's Only One

Keegan left because he was lied to by the board and they put him in an impossible position. How would you like it in your job, say if you were a gardener and your boss gave you a pair of scissors to do the job? I'm guessing you wouldn't like that very much. To be honest we're a joke, half the playing staff is worthless and Kinnear is out of his depth. But to be honest I can't think of a single manager who could cope with this club right now, especially with it's poisonous fans as well. Shambles the lot of us.
  8. We cost ourselves this game with an embarrassing performance from a shocking midfield. Styles made a bad decision, but to go so limp and awful there is no excuse for.
  9. Lowes has been ill, certainly why he wasn't on for the Hull game.
  10. To be honest I think the "haven't seen them play" means live for more than ever!
  11. Well these players can often adapt to new positions with age, Donaldson has been playing in Midfield for the youths, and players like Ashley Cole started out as strikers, so it's not impossible to think the scouts have seen something that can be adapted to a different position.
  12. Yeah looked two-footed as well if it was the one right by the touchline. Thought the ref was gonna send him off, in the end let him go off for treatment. Then Nile got booked for just rolling the ball back to where a freekick was supposed to be taken from I even thought their goal was a bit dodgy, looked like our full back got shoved as they broke down the right, either way was comfortable enough.
  13. Yeah just got back, Nile missed an absolute sitter, Mickey Owen would have been proud of that one! Certainly wasn't Ajax football by any stretch, but the lads looked comfortable enough and there were a couple of decent passages of play. In the end it looked like there were as many people supporting the Toon as QPR, solid enough performance and I think someone said Man City away next round.
  14. If you look at the website the place they are looks bloody plush. Worst thing they can get from it is some false expectation and some good memories. Fair play to them I say.

    Jonas Gutierrez

Jesus some of you guys, Jonas is the only player in the side who can make something out of nothing. He can beat numerous players, plays decent balls and constantly offers options to other players. If we had a couple of players in the side who could take advantage of that there would be absolutely no question about his ability.
  16. To be fair yesterday, Taylor was at fault on quite a lot of occasions which made Colo look bad. Obviously Taylor was out of position at RB so can't be totally blamed. When Noble got clean through he played them all onside, likewise when Cole scored. Also he was closest man at that point, so should have been picking him up, not pointing and blaming. Also Taylor made a mistake when he needlessly shoved their player when Neill scored an own goal. All in all a poor day for him. Saying that I still think Colo would be best deployed as our Defensive mid, he looks comfortable on the ball, has decent pace and strength and certainly is a much better player than Butt. With Taylor and Bassong at CB, Colo in CM I actually think we'd have a relatively solid spine.
  17. Love him as a player, can't believe the fans gave him an 'ironic' cheer today. Do that for Butt then you fickle morons! Shame Enrique still can't shake that 10 passes to the opposition every game or else he'd be in danger of becoming a class player.

    Jonas Gutierrez

Yeah head and shoulders better than a lot of our crap. Just works his arse off, makes something out of nothing and has settled as well as anyone recently at the club. Already people are looking for reasons to knock him down on here. Makes me laugh really, for years people have been speaking of the poison we've had in the boardroom or the dressing room - more recently the most poison I've seen is unfortunately in the stands.
  19. Got a couple of mates who are massive Rangers fans and they worship the ground Ferguson walks on. However they also say he's not been the same since his most recent bad injury and that his legs are gone. In other words perfect for our midfield.
  20. I'm not so certain the BBC would have showed this, they're as bad as anyone for showing Man Utd games. If you go back the last few years the amount of times matches involving them in the FA Cup are shown must be astronomical. Certainly Man U v Villa is shown every season it's drawn (which is often) and there has been other dross as well. Still an awful decision, which ITV are very much well known for.
  21. THREE YEARS?!!! THREE WHOLE YEARS?!!! See you in League One guys. This better be some ploy to sign him on so he doesn't leave for free then sell him to some loony tunes promoted team in the summer. Any money he got an increase in wages and a fat signing on fee as well.
