The world has gone mad. Ayoze will probably get dropped though... Well, sometimes you just have to take stats like those on face value. I don't know how many goals fifteen finishing gets you, but it doesn't sound enough for us right now. Those stats are from a computer game.

I kinda agree with Ron to be honest. Although he's been solid these last few weeks and in occasional patches over this season that doesn't really cancel out some of his terrible form in the seasons preceeding that. He would be much less under scrutiny if he wasn't the club captain - a role that he is definitely not the best candidate for at all. When it was reported that Coloccini wanted the likes of Ben Arfa out would just sit quietly when the team were arguing in the dressing room after yet another 3-0 I went off him and I doubt many would disagree that when he was desperate to go to San Lorenzo he should have gone and left a bit of a legacy and allowed us to replace him. I know that Ron goes on and on about him, but he does have a point. Oh, happy birthay

No real issues with him at the moment. He seems to have grown into the role of actually saving shots and catching footballs, has played through a few injuries and appears to be something of a voice in the team. It looked like he was leading the talk when they were in the circle before kick off. Probably is a dick and was definitely loyal to Pardew - makes sense since he'd known him for years and got to the prem because of him - but he's doing a good job for now. Still too fat for a professional athlete though.

Nothing wrong with having a British core, or at least having that viewpoint at the very least. At the end of the day though, if those British players are shit then what's the fucking point? Jack Colback Steven Taylor Mike Williamson Jonjo Shelvey Rob Elliot I've probably missed a few, but out of that list there aren't many that are the blood and thunder heart of a lion type.

Aye, sounds like he's ITK with that kind of insight. McClaren is only leaving if he wants to, and even though whoever else we get in will be dogshit. The media seem to be turning or have turned against him. It's just all so pointless. If he stays we'll go down, if he goes we'll get in some shite English clogger of a manager. In January we'll maybe maybe sign a few bodies and make a last ditch attempt at signing N'Zogbia, but then sell Perez. I hope we're relegated, I hope all of these braindead shithouse fans desert us and I hope we get relegated again and Ashley moves on to some other club. I'd take 5, hell even 10 or more years in the wilderness at this point if it meant that at least we had a board that made FOOTBALLING decisions. I'm sick of an ugly, shitty stadium and I'm sick of feeling helpless when things clearly need to be changed because they won't be. Just sick of the whole fucking thing.

This - in spades....an empty, or partially empty stadium would embarrass even this rhino-skinned con-man. I disagree with the last bit. I've got the impression over the years that he's thin-skinned and a precious little cunt that can't take criticism.
