Hull came close in our relegation season. They were near the top around Christmas.
-
Some couldn't make it according to TalkSport, which would suggest that maybe they had travelled somewhere to see friends, family etc. I doubt it was a case of some players just choosing to have a duvet day.
-
It took 10 or 11. By game 8 some were calling for him to step down. And then the Birmingham 1-1 happened and things clicked from there.

How come it's a certain?

Well.. She's not a bit chunky really, is she?

Looks like it was a magnificent meeting. Lots of effort and signs of progress. Bob Moncour in particular was magnificent, simply magnificent. And the good news is that we have at least 10 more weeks of meetings.
-
He's not going, is he.... This shitstain of a club is actually going to leave Steve 'magnificent' McClaren in charge, aren't they. Good God.

One Tory fat c***. Who's that, your mother? Superb

Poor old Penfold. Fucked up a gravy train of a job.

Interesting, Southampton. Very interesting..
-
He simply needs to walk.
-
Agreed. I care very little for what happens either way.
-
Interesting that NUFC haven't put this on the official site, Twitter feeds, or simply released a statement where the club themselves ar backing McClaren. In fact I'd say it's very telling. This cunt is circling he drain.

Pardew excuses were the best. Notting Hill carnival was at fault at one point.

The world has gone mad. Ayoze will probably get dropped though... Well, sometimes you just have to take stats like those on face value. I don't know how many goals fifteen finishing gets you, but it doesn't sound enough for us right now. Those stats are from a computer game.

Battered by Watford 3 times this season. Nice one.

I kinda agree with Ron to be honest. Although he's been solid these last few weeks and in occasional patches over this season that doesn't really cancel out some of his terrible form in the seasons preceeding that. He would be much less under scrutiny if he wasn't the club captain - a role that he is definitely not the best candidate for at all. When it was reported that Coloccini wanted the likes of Ben Arfa out would just sit quietly when the team were arguing in the dressing room after yet another 3-0 I went off him and I doubt many would disagree that when he was desperate to go to San Lorenzo he should have gone and left a bit of a legacy and allowed us to replace him. I know that Ron goes on and on about him, but he does have a point. Oh, happy birthay

No real issues with him at the moment. He seems to have grown into the role of actually saving shots and catching footballs, has played through a few injuries and appears to be something of a voice in the team. It looked like he was leading the talk when they were in the circle before kick off. Probably is a dick and was definitely loyal to Pardew - makes sense since he'd known him for years and got to the prem because of him - but he's doing a good job for now. Still too fat for a professional athlete though.

Shelvey showing that you don't have to run around a lot to be effective. I bet he'll be frustrating as fuck when we're losing though Looks like Colback is shitting himself about losing his shirt so is actually putting in a bit of effort.
-
Nothing wrong with having a British core, or at least having that viewpoint at the very least. At the end of the day though, if those British players are shit then what's the fucking point? Jack Colback Steven Taylor Mike Williamson Jonjo Shelvey Rob Elliot I've probably missed a few, but out of that list there aren't many that are the blood and thunder heart of a lion type.

Goodnight sweet prince.
