I think I understand now, he had testicular cancer, it was removed and he went on loan to Norwich. From here he got pain in his kidneys and it turned out that the initial cancer had spread to his lymph nodes in his kidneys, which has required chemotherapy. Cheers for the info Troll. Make sense now. Looking at the basic info like that, NUFC doesn't come off in any form of good light. He had cancer and we sent him out on loan. Also he paid for the operation himself. Pretty shitty setup all round.

Didn't he have to be though? As have in, you've got no good reason to leave him out so he has to be registered if there's space? Or have I imagined that? Had a good reason... He's still registered as a player though. And then there's no comeback from player and agent if he's fit to play and has been refused the right to work. Could he not go on holiday for 2 days to get around it? That worked for me on FM.

No, you're allowed to leave players out. You don't have to fill the squad I think. This is wholly based on Football Manager games.
