  1. Tell that to Owen. He got nothing for that run he went on at the end of last season and beginning of this season. With most of the weekends horse racing cancelled it is very hard to track down where Mick is, so I wont be able to tell him. Manchester probably.

    Ryan Taylor

He looked a real threat in the first half in spells and fizzled out a bit as the match went on. Good debut though. Did he get an assist from Taylors' goal?

  4. I like the way that he's even complaining about the blood pressure in the thread title.
  5. It was the team selection that blatantly caused this. That selection must be the football equivalent of self-harm.
  6. A few years ago I would have vomited in disgust at that team. Nothing much has changed.
  7. We've got løvehandles and that's about it. Our defence has more speed than our midfield and strike'force'.
  8. Obafemi arrested for cottaging. Apparently he did it because of the nasty men with guns.

  10. Those people that are going on about Martinez.. are you forgetting the Paul Ince saga so quickly? His lower league record was brilliant with both clubs he was at. We all know the rest.
  11. I'd want a continental manager without much knowledge of the current squad and therefore not much domestic bias. Bet we'd see Xisco get some game time then. Of course the above is theoretical and guaranteed not to happen. EVER.
  12. I don`t think Roberto Mancini would come here Why not? He was well up for Sunderland.

    Interesting read

Seriously? I believe so, yeah. They signed a winger/striker on a free who hadn't played all season and has fallen off the radar somewhat, a 'utility man' who only really performs against us and a central midfielder who has been off the boil for about 2 seasons. In return we got rid of N'Zogbia which is fair enough, his wanting to leave is nothing new.. but over the course of a few months the club forced out Given with their total mismanagement. I like Harper and think he'll do a good job, but the fact that we sold a player in a shit fashion for apparently shit money will have an effect of the squad. Given has been a part of the NUFC furniture for so long. You don't throw out the best china plates without the missus noticing.

    Interesting read

His leaving certainly started the ball rolling but what annoys me more than anything is that the club has had several chances since then to get us back onto some sort of track and completely failed. They appointed Kinnear - it could be argued that no-one else would come, but then they went on to give him a contract until the end of the season. Surely SOMEBODY could have come in who wouldn't cause us to throw away points. Obviously the biggest chance was to strengthen in the winter window.. and they well and truly fucked it up. I doubt they could have fucked it up any more than they did really. Very good article, I enjoyed reading it.
