Obafemi Martins vs. AZ Alkmaar, 1st leg at home. He was outstanding. Of all the players to have a pop at.. pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
-
Oh aye, Old Man Houghton will give him what-for. Bet Taylor'd be quaking in his size 10s over that prospect.
-
I don't know what's happening with him but the end of the season can't come quick enough for him. He's not a shit defender.. but he's certainly playing like one.
-
You know, thinking about it we always go on about players like Rio, Terry etc. who get in the faces of the refs and shout when things don't go their way.. but then I look out our lot and I think just how little they all care.
-
Rooney is always one of the first to get in the officials' face throwing insults. It's about time he was punished for his constant lack of respect. He's in no way the only one, either.
-
oh get a grip. it was a polite smile to whoever he was shaking hands with. he looked absolutely gutted once the smile faded He should look gutted, this is all his fault.
-
We're getting relegated. No doubt about it.
-
Out of a possible 15 points we've managed to collect 4 points from that lot. If we do get relegated it'll be deserved.
-
You'd think he'd sort out those eyebrows that eyebrow though. Horrific.

I prefer the Chat section to the forum now-a-days. Not particularly because of this thread, but because this is the kind of stuff being posted all the time. This club is just depressing.
-
I doubt we'd have finished 7th in his final season if he hadn't have been by Roeders' side after he was sidelined. Just my opinion, like.. but I think he had a lot of sway in the dressing room and this contributed to that brilliant run we had. Souness leaving helped as well, mind.

I've been on 8 since this poll started. I don't think I actually meant it though to be honest.. since then we beat Pompey & Villa and I felt a bit daft.. then we had a run of bad results, beat WBA which lifted us slightly and it's been pretty much disappointment every fixture since. I see that 8 is now the most common one. Depressing really.

And before that it was used on Brass Eye... ffs.
-
I predict that won't happen. 34 more complaints about that post, and does Skirge get banned? Nope, just raped to death. Shotgun.
-
Oh you know, 3 points against Pompey keeping us from relegation. Blast from the past etc. Only Cupcake Kinnear could express my thoughts on this.
-
-
But my point concerned a bigger picture. But his question was about Sir Bobbys' reign and what Shephard could have done during.. you basically haven't answered the question, which is quite rude.
-
Think you're a being a bit harsh on Colo, but then I've was constantly impressed with him in La Liga over the last two seasons before joining us. I'm confident he'll be a good buy for us - he looked a hell of a lot better with Beye in the defence as well. Everything else is pretty on the ball for me.
-
They still with Leo Franco? He's generally a solid keeper isn't he?
-
That's fucking horrific.
-
Best be careful what you're saying, the forum doesn't want a lawsuit on its hands.
-
Bet that's identical to the Kinnear/Hughton team talks. It's possible. The cavemen have the same shaped forehead as Damien Duff after all..

Xisco joins Deportivo on loan until the end of the season

And Spanish. I agree. I think he's Spanish too. -
There's really no point to this thread since you're trying to sell the idea to us as if we'd be able to implement it in some way. The fans have suggested this formation, the pundits have suggested this formation and even some of the players have suggested this formation. We're stuck with 4-4-2 and Shola Ameobi. For what it's worth I reckon a change of formation would help and could even ease the midfield problem if implemented correctly.. but it just won't happen.

Is it time for alcohol laws in football stadia to be relaxed ?
Fatwax replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
Because we're a binge nation. We're uncouth dicks who drink wayyyy too much and aren't liked by most of Europe because of it. Cajun is right, we tend to drink before, inbetween and after the match anyway but there's always a slight chance that idiots will take it too far if it was changed and this small chance is what stops the rules being changed in the forseeable future.
