  1. Everton have lost 2 important players and haven't recovered, we need to come back out with the same intensity and don't let them settle.
  2. Bring Bruno on, since Gray went off these have lost the midfield
  3. Keep Joe away from the penalty area ffs
  4. One of theirs gonna see red if they don't toneijt down
  5. This annoys me so much, just keep trying to play, stop with the hissy fits.
  6. Tbf, and I probably agree with not starting him given the circumstances, everyone just knows what desperate position we're in and we all just want our best chance of winning. It's less about being unbearable and more about opinion on what our best chance is. Fwiw also Pardew would have played him because he didn't spend any time preparing for matches or working on any tactics or positions or flows of play etc. Howe will have these players drilled, changing a cog in a running machine could damage the entire machine.
  7. As long as he doesn't wait until the 60-odd minute to bring him on we're golden. I'd give him the 2nd half.
  8. We just need to win on Tuesday now and we can finally climb out the mire. That was horrific, I just fear for our ability to score.
  9. In the midst of a breaking story he chose to trivialise a pretty serious assault for the sake of banter, that being said the proceeding pile on was churlish and I would suggest had nothing to do with the actual tweet but anger and defence of something people love, i.e. NUFC. What's happening right now, people digging up tweets from 11 years ago is beyond the pale, there really is no good guys in this. It would have been preferable for him to have been punished, put out an apology and for the focus to be put back on the poor girl who is in the centre of the actual story, not this side show, freak show.
  10. Accepts responsibility for the idiocy of the tweet but not the repercussions of his actions, aye OK then. Would have been better to just hold his hands up, take the L and try to hold on to the tatters of his career, doubling down does him no favours.
  11. Hopefully with a better midfield now we change tact from lumping it up to a focal point with Wood's back to goal and get him facing the right way to get on the end of some of Brunos insane visionary passes. We could see more of Wood yet with better support just behind him.
  12. I'll echo the sentiments, an excellent bit of business, extremely excited to see Bruno in action but can't shake feeling concerned about our lack of firepower.
  13. I've turned into a transfer junkie, I WANT MOAR!
  14. Did we buy Bruno just to rival ASM as twitter king?
  15. Arsenal supporters spitting feathers
  16. I'm not sure I could be as restrained, he'd be getting a cricket bat to his kneecaps if it was my daughter, as a dad to a young woman this kind of thing really sickens me to my stomach, I can't imagine what he must be going through.
  17. Surprised there's been very little interest from us in Origi, think he'd be a better option than Nketiah
  18. It doesn't help that these are kids surrounded by adults telling them consistently how amazing they are and bending to every whim. Though it's not an excuse as it takes a special kind of wrongun to do this.
  19. I'm an advocate for personal responsibility, one thing that annoys me about a lot of what happens these days. However, from the outside looking in its easy to say just leave and frustrating when you see it happening to a loved one, but it's never that simple. Most of these relationships start out perfect and psychologically people are chained to that, not to mention the actual gas lighting that makes them doubt everything about themselves. Everyone has a breaking point and we can't judge people on our own breaking points, especially on experiences we've never had to endure. That being said, I hope (and I'm basing this on the evidence at hand) he goes away for a long time and never has the chance to work in professional football again.
  20. Sounds like the perfect pairing for Schar, hopefully that's how Eddie sees it too.
  21. I reckon it'll be a CB and 2 loans at this point. Hopefully an AM and a ST
  22. I'm presuming we have to wait for the stock market to open on Monday for this to be announced then?

    Jesse Lingard

We stay up, we could get him on a free anyway, we take him now on reasonable terms and we've played them twice already there's a chance we take points from teams around them. The only person that's affected by their stance is Lingard and after 22 years at the club he deserves to do what he wants, they clearly don't want him so paying his wages to sit the rest of the season out is nonsensical.
  24. Ah man, if you can't keep your cool in a training match what hope have you got? Not even a backup option anymore he's become a real liability.
