We're so much better when we move the ball quickly, exasperating that we don't do it more often.

This type of game is perfect for us, bigger teams want to push forward against everyone else and it gives us the room to press their players and use our wings on the counter. But the mid and low level teams play a low block and suffocate us from deep. This was always going to be a better performance from us, having said that I was still delighted with the result, not many teams will take any points from City again this season.

Wolves, Palace and Everton would be quality

How have we not equalised this second half?? So many chances man.

We'll win this 3-2

Our best midfield 3 is undoubtedly Bruno, Tonali and Willock, but we've got to treat him with kid gloves, Big Joe is an amicable stand in with Willock getting minutes when we need to up the tempo.
-
Seems Eddie does too, all 3 subs being made

I thought it was an improved performance by us and up until their goal we dominated, but they're parking the bus at home and looking to take us on the break, we need to be smarter, move the ball quicker and take our chances. It's obvious that the personnel on the pitch is preventing us from full tempo and accuracy. I'd like to see Barnes, Tonali and Willock get some minutes for Murphy, Longstaff and Joelinton.

Most excited to see Willock back on the bench, he's a game changer

I get that playing Gordon on the left is the best option but I'd still have Barnes on the right with a bit of freedom to go left than Murphy or Almiron. Tonali should also be starting now, he's just had a storming international break and must be match fit by now. Also, happy with the defence, Tino deserves to hold that RB slot down and Trippier can be an impact sub later on.

This is how I took it, a dig at the previous man in charge not the current staff. I also think that Howe probably had a point in Guehi or nothing, if he felt that Guehi was the long term successor for Schar and anyone else we could have got wouldn't be able to fill his boots long term then why fork out for a stop gap when PSR is tight? Maybe it's just being read as a dig when all it is, is an explanation.

It's not even that, who steps in if Livramento gets crocked? Plus he showed the other night he's still got it when he came on as a sub, he's still got a lot to offer as a player and a leader, vocal and experienced.

When you have Krafth and Burn at CB and Longstaff in the engine room then you've got issues with passing. I think it will make a huge difference once we've got Botman, Schar and Tonali on the pitch. Having said that, the likes of Bruno, Gordon, Barnes and even Isak have struggled to find accurate passes so far this season.

He needs the players around him to pick up their games to get him involved, he's no good bringing the ball down and holding it up for support. Either feed him over the top or round the sides or get in behind with the likes of Gordon and give him the service he needs. Once our performances improve he'll be banging them in for fun again.

Much better first half than the last 3 games, without Botman and Schar in the back we're never gonna build up well, but we've defended well limiting them to shots from outside the area and close a few times to getting in behind. Tonali will get his time and Spurs will start to push harder to get back in this, we will get opportunities to break, just need to take them.

Understand Hall not starting, Kelly is probably the better choice with a defensive mindset. Not to worried about ball carriers either we just need to be able to ping the ball into one of Barnes, Gordon or Isak to catch them out. If they play their usual high line we can easily pick them apart. Still nervy though

It was his standing leg and not the one the other player ran into which, with no medical experience whatsoever, seems worse to me
