Was it ever in doubt? He's home, why would he leave?
-
You just know that's his answer to this, just lfl swap in Gallagher.
-
He looked so isolated on that side, I thought he had a good game and made some key tackles in and around our penalty area and made some good contributions in the attacking 3rd, but he was badly exposed by Foden drifting to the middle constantly.
-
Bellingham was that anonymous you forgot him
-
Pathetic, even if we top the group I can see third place knocking us out in the next round, absolutely disgusting how he can get so much attacking talent looking so impotent.
-
Denmark have had free reign down our left because Foden keeps drifting central, he's clearly got one on him so put him at 10 and give us some width and defence on the left with Gordon, it's not rocket science!
-
Great result for us but I'm not convinced we do the business tonight especially trying the definition of insanity
-
I had my sister-in-laws boyfriend message me today, Man Utd supporter, saying "United are throwing money round everywhere but nothings happening, lol". I know this play mate, Ashley was a master at it, at least Sir Jimmy "tried" though, yeah?
-
Can only be a good thing when you look at some of the wonky ass lines they draw or cutting off players toes to get an offside.
-
Such a Man Utd win that, scabby and not really deserved
-
Great schedule for us that, provided Sky don't rip it up. With Man Utd still penny pinching, Chelsea self harming, Liverpool with a new manager, Villa on the slide and UCL football to occupy them, we've got a great chance this season.
-
Yeah sorry, miscomprehension on my behalf, defending the 1-0 so early just gives the opposition the momentum and helps them build confidence as was blatantly obvious tonight, Serbia weren't even in the game until after we scored.
-
We were 1-0 up after 13 minutes, keep the pressure on then.
-
Agree with this too, I don't begrudge Kane dropping deep because he links up play so well, but Bellingham is the better player to play forward of Kane when he drops deep, Foden offers nothing, he's better feeding off a striker that plays on the shoulder.
-
100% agree but Southgate will never go for anything but a double pivot. I'd even take Eze over Gordon against a deep defence at LW but Foden is wasted there, he doesn't put his mark on any game at LW for England.
-
Absolutely this, we turn the screw at 1-0 and we easily win 2 or 3-0 but it's back to safety first and not conceding. Such anti-football.
-
Foden is backup to Bellingham at 10 for me, Gordon starts at LW and I'd probably go Trent at RB, I'd also Start Wharton in CM next to Rice, we're lacking severe chemistry at the moment and the City lads have all been poor.
-
That was a tough watch, so obvious that Southgate just wanted to play safe after scoring, Foden was anonymous again, thought Saka was useful and Bellingham probably motm. But the city players were shocking. Such a frustrating team to support, keep turning the screw at 1-0 and we win that 2 or 3-0 but no, we could possibly play with any risk whatsoever.

Has to be a pen

Finally some footy!!

I've had jobs where I've been paid more and been miserable, I'd 100% sacrifice money over happiness all day long. Bruno is clearly on top of the world here but who knows how he sees it, only him I guess. I don't think he'd be anyway as close to as happy as he is here, but to some that's not everything. Anyway, it's all conjecture until it's fact so I'm not worrying about what isn't material.

That Bears team of the mid 80s was quality, Walter Payton was my first sporting hero, its been nothing but pain since
-
They'll always be remembered for Jordan, but that team had Rodman, pippen, Kerr, Kukoč, they were just stacked across the court.
-
I don't even like Chicago, just fell in love with their teams when I was young it's been about 20 years since my last fight, shouod be worth a laugh.
-
I loved watching that Bulls team, got me into Basketball and playing at college level (yes I'm that old) albeit in England. Truly were a sight to behold, just pure domination, shame the Bears team have never lived up to that standard bar a brief moment in the 1985/86 season.
