Makes a change from Ghanians trying to get rid of Sunderland shirts tbf.
  2. That City shirt looks comfortable as fuck. I do like the look and feel of that Umbro material.

    Fraser Forster

Have only seen him once admittedly (at the Forest game), and you're absolutely right, he looked bereft of quality. Who's to say though, he might have another Pards-inspired turnaround.

    NUFC Kits

Have the training tops always had sponsors?
  5. Can't see them improving a great deal beyond their current position tbh. They'll be 4th or 5th next season depending on how Di Matteo does with Chelsea.
  6. Sad for Italy, but best team won overall. Humble words from Vialli there too. Pleased to see the Italian revival.
  7. Alba fully deserved that goal. Been fantastic throughout this tournament.
  8. A straight cunt-off between him and Tyldesley for me. 'Clive' won. I'm with Lawro and his sarcastic bollocks for the evening.

    Alan Smith

Indeed. A complete myth that he was anything other than just about not shit in the championshit as well.
  10. Pirlo. Aye. A shout for De Rossi too perhaps? Think he's been fantastic.
  11. Just interested in who folk think has been player of the tournament so far?
  12. This. Not one of the West Ham fans I know like him. I'd not be at all surprised to see Redknapp back there before the end of next season.
  13. Undoubtedly the best is this little gem: 'Scholes. Just for being a poor man's Gerrard... (Which still is a magnificent footballer, mind)'

    Football pet hates

Commentary last night was absolutely shocking. The Ronaldo rimming was something else.
  15. Baros is truly fucking terrible.
  16. Thinking exactly the same.
  17. BBC doing a good job of destroying any semblance of atmosphere by turning up the commentary to drown out the crowd.

You do wonder how a vast majority of these blokes actually find employment. Are producers really that ignorant as to how twats like Townsend and Bright come across to the general public? It's plainly obvious they don't have a fucking clue what they're doing/saying. Commentary on radio 5live is fairly decent - particularly like Jimmy Armfield's co-commentary.

Nah, he's worse than Crooks. Crooks is just mental. He's just a sad, older, mental cunt. To use a horrendous analogy... Crooks'd be like getting stabbed off a drug addict for your wallet when you're walking about, you can understand it is cos he's not in full control of his marbles, just wants a fix. Bright is the snide sort of cunt who copies your card in his bad restaurant and doesn't even need the money, he already has a fully functioning business, he's just robbing you to make you suffer. Just seen this. Brilliant.
  20. Terrible decision, football-wise for Diame. ££££ talks though, I suppose. God, if only Blackpool had beaten that bunch of twats.
  21. Didn't he owe money to the SBR Foundation for losing a bet with someone on here? It was me that pledged money to the SBR Foundation, payable if Modric left. He didn't but I paid the money to the Foundation anyway. Fair play then.
  22. People enjoy watching twats fail? I don't understand that holding in the context of it being your own country. You do realise many English people hate England as a country? Given the relative open society, free press and high standard of multicultural living standards we enjoy I pity these people. Not too mention everything else we've achieved as a nation. Still, each to their own. RE: disliking the players, Terry I can understand but fuck me I can't think of a single one I won't have jeered playing against NUFC because i want to see them fail but guess what? Playing for England doesn't effect NUFC in the slightest so I can get behind him when they represent my national team, just like I would if NUFC suddenly signed them as that's who I support. Bit of an contradiction isn't it? We have a free press, an open society, but if you don't want England to do well then you 'pity' them? Come off it. The 'achievements' of this nation have nothing to do with football and supporting the national side. People can support who they want to support, irrespective of where they're from. Surely acceptance of that fact is more indicative of the free society of which you speak than chastising those who turn their backs up at the national side. No, people can support who they want but if you read what i said you'll find i was saying I pity you if you "hate" England. Ah...now I see what you were saying. Apologies, Disco. Completely misinterpreted your post.
  23. Didn't he owe money to the SBR Foundation for losing a bet with someone on here?
  24. There is a level of detachment in that sense. But I'd argue this is not England-specific, this is football-wide. The money involved in the sport nowadays is a big contributing factor to a sense of alienation with pretty much all football players, at least at the top level. Agree with this entirely.
  25. FYP Other Spurs fans here are decent posters. At the very least they don't bleat on as though we actually give a concerted shit about their team. Whatever happened to Kingdawson btw?
