Wich loan deals could improve us untill the season ends? Hearing Choudhury and Loftus-Cheek mentiond today. Would they improve us? Who else could be useful?

Probably the club have given us prmission to talk to the player. A sign the player is for sale at the right price. But we still have to agree a fee with the club if it's to go ahead of course.

Zapata and Lingard would have the attack sorted. Then we need a CM(Fofana?), LB(Gosens?, Bakker?) and a CB(Diego Carlos?, Badiashile?, Ginter?).

Could see a few players leave on loan in the last days of the window. Depending which players coming in I'd say some of Woodman, Clark, Hendrick, Shortstaff, Anderson and Gayle.

Thoose two critical positions being CB, DCM, CM, LB, AMR and ST ?

Because it's the two positions he usualy play. And I don't think we're gonna play with a LB and a LWB at the same time.

If we sign both Bakker and Gosens, is it a sign that we'll play 4-4-2? With Bakker as LB and Gosens as LW. Maybe that will put ASM as one of two strikers. Could be a good thing as ASM offers nothing in defence and can't play as a lone striker.

I have no doubt our new owners will get this right in the end. The big problem in this window is our league position, that our previus owner is to blame for. That combined with that many clubs are not interested to sell in january. It would have been much easyer to build a squad in the summer. That's the time of the year every team is looking too improve or change their squads. If we only can survive this season...

I'm surpriced we're not being linked to more bargain deals. Every player we sign can't cost £25M or more. Must be many players available for £3-10M. Thinking of players like Ginter, Azmoun etc... If we can get 3-4 players from that bracket in + a couple of loan deals it could be enough to survive this season.

Why are we trying to sign players that cost £40-50M? Thoose deals almost never gets done in january and always takes time to get done. I'd rather we go for cheaper players who can keep us up and then, if we stay up, go for the bigger deals in the summer. The cheaper players then shows to be either good enough or will become squad players next season. I think it's best to take it step by step and the first step is to avoid relegation this season.

Matthias Ginter linked again. Seems to be available for around £4M! 28 years old tomorrow and have over 40 caps for Germany.

I wonder if the reason he didn't want to loan the movie was because he had already seen it or if he just wasn't interested to see it?? Surely can't just been because of the position it had on the table?!?

I would like to see us move for Kamara and/or Fofana. Thoose two would solve much of our problems.

Demand £50M for Schar and bring Botman in!?

I think Milenkovic would be a good signing. A central defence of him and Botman could be very good for years to come. And maybe it would be easier to get Vlahovic in the summer. Bet they are good friends as they're both serbian and plays for Fiorentina.

Dummett's also back. Maybe Dummett could start at LB and Lewis to come on when Dummett gets tired. Probably too soon though for Lewis.

So who's next? If we sign a foreign player who doesn't already play in Brittain, he must have a work permit. Wouldn't that take a few days/a week? Hard to see him play on saturday then.

LB must be a priority now. Who except Digne and Tagliafico has we been linked too? Anyone heard someting?

Has been traveling for at least 3 hours now. How far is it from Burnley to Newcastle? Do we have anyone waiting outside the training ground?

Maybe we're doing what AC Milan did in the 90s? Weakening the rivals by buying their best players and put them on the bench.? Wood, Cantwell...
