  1. Beating the mackems 5-1 will forever be the standout. The entire day was brilliant and it was a city-wide party atmosphere afterwards. I'd have been out well into the small hours if it wasn't for the early morning start beforehand!
  2. It's hard to put into words how class it is having a stadium in the city centre. Being a one-club city, the buzz in town on a matchday is absolutely brilliant. I love it. So many people, all going about their own little individual matchday rituals. If we win, it lingers well into the evening. Everyone's on a high and up for a good time. There's been occasions I've not wanted to go home.
  3. An interruption and wants to "see how we go". Also "hoping" for a few goals.
  4. At least he can gan get the ball back now he's gone up the steps.
  5. Our songbook's hardly the best, but Chelsea's is one of the shittest going.
  6. Not giving the Mirror the satisfaction of clicks - or the person their story is about the satisfaction of naming him - but he (a certain former Sky presenter now working in the MENA region) thinks Leeds need to appoint Allardyce, not Marsch. Fucking sigh.
  7. For anyone who didn't see the game, the PL and MOTD highlights do a disservice to how dominant we were. These are better: https://www.nufc.co.uk/nufc-tv/highlights/brentford-a-highlights-21-22/
  8. Being as pessimistic I can, having us beat Palace at home and Norwich away and not getting a single point elsewhere, puts us on 31. While those two games might not result in three points each, there's no way we're only going to pick up six points in our remaining 13. You see it every year, but form, confidence and momentum play a massive part at this point in the season.
  9. Don't understand this way of thinking. There's a 40 per cent chance we'll be relegated? Yes, Burnley could overtake us with their game in hand, but we've also brought Leeds and Brentford well and truly into the picture, while Everton are still there as well. If you take the view that Norwich and Watford are going, there's one place left for five teams - a 20 per cent chance each.
  10. Not sure how much I rate him like. Undoubtedly a good shot-stopper, but he parries an awful lot back out.
  11. Sky have previous like. I was at a house party on the night Bowyer and Dyer had their fight earlier in the day. SSN was on in the background as everyone who hadn't been at the game wanted to see it. All of a sudden they cut off from discussing the day's games and yellow tickers appeared everywhere, saying to switch to Sky News immediately. Why? The fucking Pope had died
  12. Hope fellow Michael Keane hater, @ManDoon, enjoyed that as much as me.
  13. That's how I interpret it. What's going to be interesting is if/when assets are frozen, it's how long for. It could fuck them up in the summer.
  14. It's time to stop worrying about Burnley, Brentford and Leeds. We're in form and have momentum. Keep on doing what we're doing and it'll take care of itself. As to who'll go, it definitely appears to be one of Leeds or Brentford. Both are the opposite of us right now.
  15. I know he didn't, but like with cheeseslice, I always worry he's capable of doing so.
