You would think as a striker he would be hungry to attack goal, but he's more keen to link up play than actually finish a move.
-
The truth is we keep resorting to percentage football against sides that just need to be spanked with good attacking football on the floor. Their two centre backs were probably the slowest and most stupid defenders in the top two divisions but we couldn't exploit that because we were too busy looking for route one which they enjoyed immensely bless 'em. agreed...

When Derby got the goal they got belief and the more we tried to force the game the easier Derby found it to get physical and catch us on the counter. In the second half Derby could have scored a few. I think they went in to this game believing that if they got one in early they could mess us up. Paul Jewell is no fool and must have said the right things at half time as Derby came back out and put us under pressure even more and got the early second half goal. The Newcastle players have suffered problems with confidence and form of late and it was the time for Derby to get us if there was one. Can't see them beating Liverpool at home.

Have you considered our players aren't that good? Yes, hence why I said "hope" during that last sentence.

Disgusting to watch, feel that anyone at the game should get a refund. We lost because of pure arrogance today, which was rooted from fans to the players. Everyone believed it was going to be a cricket score, and we went out there with formation to attack, but forgot that you still have to defend. This 4-3-3 crap has to stop. It's costing us points and the players don't remotely look comfortable playing it. Here's other things that I felt during the game. 1. Nicky Butt, never EVER try the long ball pass. YOU JUST CAN'T DO IT AND YOU LOSE THE BALL YOU TOOL. 2. Joey Barton should not start. He isn't ready and should be playing from the bench, Emre to start please. 3. Rozenhal, what the hell happened? Cacapa is nearly just as bad... Taylor and Faye should always play when fit. 4. Crosses... let's put man on the opposite corner to collect the ball after Milner hoofs it over the entire goal area. Perhaps the 2nd ball from the opposite flank will be a better one. 5. 4-3-3 is NOT working. Forget it sam. You play to the strenghts of your players, not play your favourite tactic despite it being ineffective with the players you have. 6. N'ZOGBIA IS NOT A FUCKING LEFT BACK. PLAY HIM LEFT WING OR FUCK OFF SAM YOU FAT CUNT. oh I could rant all night about this game. It's just so frustrating to see that we have talented players which are letting less talented players get the better of them. Well done to Derby too. They got fuck all to play for really yet they came and should have taken the points. As much as I feel angry at Sam for not sorting out the team to get the win, I still think he needs to be given to the end of the season. We have to take this one on the chin and hope Sam wakes up, sorts out the problems, and we move up the table to fight for 6th/7th.

fuck me, Viduka AGAIN the saviour...
-
that was terrible. Cacapa flings a leg, Roz gets done and bang... goal. How the hell do we let the bottom of the table team score 2 of their 3 away goals at SJP. Disgrace.
-
well done Viduka!!!
-
would be an amusing circle if he was loaned back to Plymouth Argyle. lol...
-
Michael Owen is a complete fanny. No he couldn't do a slide tackle without getting injured.
-
Wind up? Nah, I actually do work for same company in same building as her, just different departments.
-
I work with Ben Tozer's mother. I knew he was a promising defender at Plymouth Argyle, but he got messed around with his contract so took up the Swindon deal. He's been involved with England youth setup aswell at under 18 level. Will ask her what is going on tomorrow.

I'm a big fan of Milner, and he is still so young... 21! - Feels like he's been about for years, and I suppose he has since it's been 5 years from his Premiership debut He's still learning, but he has a great work rate. He has ability to put in good crosses and long range shots, just need him to be more consistient with assists and goals. Look forward to seeing what kind of player Milner will be in another 5 years time.

Sir Bobby is spot on. Life after Bobby has been dreadful, and it was all down to us failing to quality for Champions League football. Bobby would have likely clinched another Champ League spot if kept as manager, where instead we suffered a few years of Souness and Roeder.
-
Hurray!!!! Babayaro gone! Soon Patison will be gone to Norwich and if we are lucky, Carr and Ameobi out in Jan.
-
Tired of reading shit about takeovers. Ashley ain't going to sell unless its for more money than he's currently spent on the club, and the rumour is suggesting a fee which would leave Ashley at a loss if he sold. Utter bollocks.
-
Nicely put Mick.
-
Spurs have some cracking players, it's crazy that they are doing so badly.
-
That russian lad Arshavin can play midfield, upfront or support striker. Good replacement for Ameobi?
-
I'd prefer we kept and played Smith upfront. Sell Ameobi and buy another centre midfielder in Jan.
-
I'd love to take Crouch, although with Owen, Viduka, Smith and Martins... there isn't space unless one is sold.
