Not saying he should start over Perez. But he just came back and offers something else. We need 2 quality players in all positions and he can be quality imo...he just needs game time! no problem with that. Think McClaren had to make important changes. It had nothing to do with perez performing bad...it was just something that had to be done! It worked, he played well and he needs minutes! It makes the squad stronger. Sick of people screaming for Perez! (He is my favorite as well)

Not too upset about the result. Wanted us to win but we did´t play well enough - BUT we had 3-4 big chances but unfortunately we did´t take them. Overall we did enough to win but lady luck was not with us yesterday. Still early days and it is still something to build on...remember how things where 2-3 weeks back! What is still obvious is: Dummett should be sold (at some point soon). Mbabu also covers DC and LB and is much more exciting. We also have haidara. Central midfield is a mess. Sell at least one of: Tiote, Anita, Colback. Personally i hope we sell tiote coz i can´t see him hit former level. The other two are ok subs for now. Bring in a quality DCM and let Gini play central in a position just behind De Jong/Perez. (box to box) Our lineup yesterday lacked creativity. De Jong offers something else. Replace one DCM and move Gini central (no. 8 position) - that will be a way to get a creative LW in the line up. Yesterday Gini and Sissoko were our only creative players (both on the wing). No problem with Elliot being our goalie for the rest of the season. He is doing ok and is playing with passion. De Jong will only get better. My only concern is he lacks pace. Away from home i think perez is a bigger threat with his pace going forward on the counter. Like both...and completion is healthy. I really like McClaren and what him to succeed. He is not perfect but he seems like and nice guy and im convinced he is able to improve us further. Really looking forward to the xmas/new year program: i wish for 6 points but 4 will do from the next 3 matches.

played yesterday. He needs to start and another big plus is his leader-skills. Just sad Perez play same position...but there should be plenty of game time for both in that position...also perez can cover more positions. Looks promising.

Yesterday Danish commentators deeply critized pardew for his poor tactics. Still played cabaye too deep when there wasnt any attacking threat. Nothing changed!

well - if there is anything positive it must be our summer signings. The supposed plan of improving our squad over the next windows must be executed faster. I really want McClaren to succeed but with ok managers (Moyes, Rodgers etc.) available Ashley must have a plan B come January. And hire then them on normal terms...

turned out to be the best business the club ever done.... I would only take him back for very little money and as a 3rd choice striker. Do feel sorry for him...injuries have ruined what could have been a interesting career.

Best position for him now. And in order to keep him happy and dangerous he needs "a free role" when attacking.

Need to buy new CMs. Gini prefers to play in the middle - actually the place where Perez is playing. That is a problem coz in order to keep Gini happy i guess he wants to play in his preferred position. Playing him further back (CM) is not smart imo. He is better going forward.

Incredible game. Didn´t deserve to win or draw. Happy with the win obviously! Main problem is that central midfield. Need to buy 1 or 2 quality CMs. Please sell Anita, Colback and Tiote! LB position is also weak as piss.
