4-4-2 wasn't enjoyable last season or the season before, 4-3-3 with the right players playing well is better than 4-4-2 with poor players not having a clue what they are doing but big sam might be the man for 4-4-2 to be good

Rather play 4-4-2, much more enjoyable to watch were we playing 4-3-3 on saturday? because from where i was sitting it looked like 4-5-1 with martins and milner in midfield by the way they ran back to our own goal Viduka cant handle upfront by himself but 4-4-2 would be good

well if owen runs all over the pitch and knocks in quite a few goals then maybe he might be on my side but hes just been a waste of money

My starting 11 when everyone is fit would be: Given Carr Taylor Rozenhal Enrique/N'Zogbia Solano Geremi Barton Milner Martins/Owen Viduka/Shola SUBS: Harper Cacapa Butt Emre Owen/Martins/Viduka/Shola N'zogbia has impressed at left back and could play there, not sure about enrique havnt saw him play Cacapa might also be a good player so he might start just not sure yet will be hard to pick the strikers so either 1 or 2 out of the 4 on the bench and emre or butt out of squad? tough season for the players DUFF SHOULD JUST STAY AWAY

that's more like it The Zog has shown more ability than Duff, in fairness. Duff has achieved far more in his career than N'Zogbia. I think if Duff gets time in the team and can avoid injuries, he'd excel under Allardyce. well n'zogbia isnt as old as duff to have achieved as much n'zogbia is younger, stronger, not a injury freak, more shot power, control and can play at lb lw and cm if needed duff is crap from every game home and away ive watched him at...he can play lw and could try and play cm or striker? (which he would fail in)

Martins would hate to see him leave compared to anelka, martins is faster, younger, energetic, better creativity which i like to see

Butt & Carr + £1m for Diop. butt is a top player for us and carr fills in a space and does an OK job sometimes Diop? who would he replace? Geremi, Butt, Barton, Emre are 4top players to start with and diop would struggle to fit into the starting 11
