I’d expect any new stadium to have a Gallowgate puddle and pigeon incorporated into the design.

If they moved to Leazes Park then it would be great if they could reduce the capacity of SJP and use it for the women’s team.

I’m pretty relaxed about the whole thing. I just can’t see how Spurs would “beat” us to his signing at this moment in time. They’ve got a good new manager but otherwise they’re a shambles, and it’s going to take time for him to sort out. Maddison is in the prime of his career and doesn’t have time to wait about. If we want him, we’ll get him. If we don’t sign him it’s because our sights are set elsewhere and I have 100% faith in the recruitment team to be making the right call on that front.

Should be a rule that clubs need to unveil all their kits for the upcoming season on a specific date. Proper shan that they could release a home kit and then potentially a European “alternate” kit a few weeks later. I suspect any alternate kit will just be the usual third kit, but last year we released 5 kits which was ridiculous.

Seems someone who is suited to playing as a wing back more than as a LB.

Milan’s one of those cities where it’s really easy for people to trot out the generic “it’s a shithole” line, but it’s really not. There’s some stunning architecture around the city and some lovely city centre parks. Malpensa is fucking horrendous to get to though, much prefer flying into Linate.
