We were talking on WhatsApp about the terrible NUFC photoshops that tend to so the rounds. Most recently one with Howe and all the players in the sky above the Tyne bridge. Anyway, this got us talking about the ‘you’ll do for me Bonny lad’ ones and how they’re spoofs and quite amusing. My mate proceeded to say: ‘Ones like the one above are deadly serious though. The spoof ones always have that little chicken man in them.’ Absolutely buckled at that. Anyway, just wanted to share.

He’s allowed as much time as it takes imo. Done and incredible job. Genuinely thought he’d been brought in to help us get promoted after certainty of relegation and build from there. Staying up is an added bonus.

I’d heard an interesting rumour about the current DWP site, and them moving to town (which we know is happening), and the building they’re getting redone is owned by the Reubens… just so happens the DWP site is next to the current training ground…no idea if it’s two and two together and getting 5, but guessing it’s not against possibilities they want to get that land for a new training complex and/or stadium. Totally nothing in it concrete, but food for thought.

First time back at SJP since May 2018 tonight when I sacked my season ticket off. Think I did a few away games the following season after that, but the way Rafa was ‘backed’ that summer was the final nail in the coffin. Looking forward to being there again.
