Not long been back. Second half was canny awful. Seemed to have little drive at all after the third goal. When their second went in, Rafa turned to the bench and gestured them all to get up and get sorted to come on. He looked furious.

Possibly. Staying and getting promoted is more likely than an above average team coming in for him. Although he's been one of the better players in our horrible last season, he's not exactly put himself in the shop window for a top club.

He's told various fans he's staying when stopped for autographs etc. Not that it means much like, but I'm sure he'll stay.

Rafa knows his football, so why would he play this ginger spunk bucket? I can understand Pardew, Carver and McClaren playing him, but you'd hope a technically astute and successful manager would see through this charlatan.

I'm confident going into this season, but by no means do I expect to walk it. I still think we're lacking in a couple of areas, mainly creativity in midfield. I'd reinvest the money this season, for sure. We have Mitrovic potentially missing between 4-8 games with suspension, Aarons is made of used lottery tickets, De Jong terminally ill, and Haidara MIA etc etc. We can't afford to be complacent.

Wasn't expecting this but I'm not concerned at all. I'd rather we iron out the creases and Rafa to sort these bastards out with a decent amount of time until our first game.

As if I needed another reason to hate the England team anymore.
