A mate of mine from home has just gotten a contract with Real Salt Lake. Has been all around America with different clubs but started as a 16 year old with Wolves before coming back to Northern Ireland for a bit. He's called Jonny Steele, missed the game against Glaxy with a knee injury but is a pretty decent player!

I'd say he's off in the summer.

aye,unless they are using "favourite hunting grounds" to mean somewhere we once bought someone from. Could be Benzema then seeing as we gave Real so much for our last "top class" striker £8m? Mourinho doesn't really rate him. He only played so much last year as Higuin was injured. Might be a bit cheap as they paid quite a bit for him but it's nice to dream! ha ha! Have Madrid signed any strikers this summer?

He's not really used as a striker though is he? I know he was before, haven't seen all that much this year if i'm honest! But nor was Gervinho really, more of a winger/attacker

Loic Remy I think. Wasn't he linked to West Ham last summer? I know he moved to OM but kinda fits the striker/wide right player we've been linked to

FYP He is no where near good enough for Newcastle. I watch quite a bit of SPL, he's slow and just goes out to kick people (Not in the good Tiote way either!) Always comes across as a bit of a prick as well. No thank you!

He was fantastic most of the season but got injured for last 6 weeks of season or so. Loves a trick or two with loads of pace and scored a few as well. Loved by all of the fans and seemed to enjoy it! Think I read somewhere he's off on loan to Espanol??

I think we'd better get used to more of this to be honest. With Ashley's idea of buying young players with a large resale potential we will become a selling club. How long before player like Vuckic or Ferguson play 30 - 40 games before moving on elsewhere? Obviously they are nowhere near Jose's standard but it seems to be the way we run the club at the minute!
