  1. Aye, saw that earlier; came across as a right dickhead. The best bit was the Portuguese bloke asking him if he didn't understand English. Omg, ive just seen that bit on sky sports news aswell, what is wrong with that guy?? he even tracked down his lolipop? to be fair to ronaldo he actually handeled it pretty well but if i was him something like that would just encourage me to get away from england
  2. my god the itv commentators wanted to bum ronaldo, every time he touched the ball they had a big jizzfest i mean hes a great player but they are way over the top
  3. haha classic keegan line from that article "The best team usually win — except the time when we lost it. That time the best team came second."
  4. This is first time im able to travel up to newcastle this season so im hopin we play a full strength team and give them a game, and not play youngesters or play like were off on holidays
  5. How have you come to that conclusion exactly? He is just as injury prone but we also have the games hhe will miss after his red cards! In the last 8 seasons, since signing for Newcastle, Dyer has played 222 games. Smith has played 291 in the same time.. Smith is a bit injury prone maybe, but not in the same league as Dyer. Narr smith hasnt played that many games because he has been a squad player and the one injury he did have was that freak broken leg incident so hardly injury prone. still i prefer dyers style of play but i have confidence in big sam
  6. If he can improve his match fitness it could improve his overall game. His reaction times are very slow and lethargic, and this is the main problem in premiership football you get little to no time on the ball before defenders snatch the ball off you. As he suggests he would like a run of games to show what he can do i believe this will definitely improve his ability to react quicker(control of the ball, awareness of opponents around him etc) whether or not this improves to an acceptable level we will have to wait and see but he should at least be given a run of games to get into the swing of things i mean any player who hasn't started two games in a row for 2 years is hardly going to be at full flow, in a foreign league to what you have been used to all your professional life.
  7. I don't understand why people read anything into these articles because Ashley has disappeared since he made the statement after launching the takeover bid. So newspapers get annoyed by the fact that they get no loose change from Ashley and feel the need to make up stories that fan's may consider to be a realistic possibility where in fact its actually bulls***.
  8. I think what would have affected luque the most from that injury was the affect it had on his pace as he used to be quick when he played in spain and for a winger/striker to have pace and then lose it can have a dramatic affect on their overall performance. and just look at that goal he scored against real madrid when he raped salgado. He couldn't out pace lee clark based on recent performances. But hopefully if what sam says is true and they can get him to the same fitness levels he had before he joined then he could have an upturn in fortune with us.
