You're right, I'm sorry.
We sent him out on loan 'cause he's shit and we're trying to get a fee for him, that gay blade. Carroll and Ranger are both clearly better than him at playing football AND being men!
I feel like we sent him out on loan to keep him match fit for when/if we go back up into the Prem. He's clearly of top-flight caliber and the powers that be probably didn't want to off-load him just yet after he didn't get a fair crack at it here the first season.
How do you take a team from Champions League football in 2003 to relegation in 2009? Takes something 'special' imo.
Your sense of entitlement is almost as bad as a Red Sox fan's
He's a decent player. I don't dispute that. Just not a great goalscorer. He never has been, either. It would be a mistake to sign him thinking he will score at a high rate.
He hasn't been a great goal scorer at a top-flight level. He would run the Championship.
Win win for Keane if you ask me. Can get his name back in the headlines and get back to full fitness and come back to the Prem and prove a few people wrong, especially because he'll be brimming with confidence which is what all strikers need.
Yeah I love watching the likes of Nolan and Butt scream for the ball while standing still behind one or two opposition players. Disgraceful from professional football players - my U10 girls know not to just stand there.
I just watched this match but didn't know what the bench looked like. The entire time I was thinking to myself "Jonas and Lovenkrands must be injured 'cause this game is crying out for them" but lo and behold - they sat on the bench the entire time. What a fucking waste. Why the hell are Butt Smith and Nolan playing in the same midfield at the same time, absolutely mind boggling. We really needed to win this match and the starting eleven and the subs were garbage.
We need to stop being so scared of having our backs to the wall. We need pace more than anything so we can go in with a positive attitude and take the game to whatever squad we face.
