Mourinho will go to win 1-0 like he does every match. The only reason he gets away with his negative tactics is because he actually wins unlike managers like Allardyce.
-
2-1 them I reckon. They'll out pass us.

Would love Man U to get drawn with FC of Manchester

For those of us not able to watch, what happened?
-
Played relatively well today. Don't think he should start when Colo/Williamson come back though. Still showed a lot of the same tendencies that he has in the past, although he's still got a few matches to prove otherwise.

Was there a girl screaming after that goal went in for your feed as well? Sounded like a stuck pig.
-
Carragher making no attempt to play the ball at all
-
Have to agree with this. I think he's getting a bit of unfair stick on here today. He was tidy but faded with the rest of the squad towards the end of the match.
-
Really missed Barton's set pieces today.

Sometimes I am glad that here in the States we don't have stupid pundits talking during halftime of football matches. It's 15 minutes of commercials, which is better than having to hear people getting paid a lot of money to spout utter shit.
-
Better half that I expected, especially considering we were up 1-0 for 90% of it. We need a bit more quality up front.
-
That's been coming.

Man having Tiote back in the side.

One of the most balanced line-ups of the season. Excited. HOWAY THE LADS!

Just happened that when I clicked "new" after I got home from work today (and had watched this match) this was the first quote to come up. Not trying to pick on ya dude. This was the only match I caught today and glad I did. Was a good match for the neutral.

What are the chances of this happening tomorrow?
-
Don't have to work during this so I get to see this in real-time. No waiting until 5pm to have to see it.
-
Zakuani is on trial at Everton anyway.

Yeah I guess that's the term I was really looking for, someone to boss the midfield. They really just need someone who will put their foot on the ball and let others join in rather than just forcing it out wide to the striker who has pulled out who then crosses it into an empty box. Bradley is interesting because he recently had a falling out with his manager over playing time and also is going to enter the last year of his contract. He would do really well in the MLS again I think.
-
I would love that. Someone also mentioned Richardo Clark as he's at the end of his contract and good friends with our manager. Either or would suit me just fine. I feel like if you can get a midfield of proper ball players then you can boss the MLS. There's so much forcing and sloppiness that if you have real quality where it counts you'll do really well.

hah, not all, but I see your point! Like I said a few posts above, a lot of it was all strategy. Get (unprotected) players you know you can trade for (protected) players you actually want. Word around the Timbers camp is that we let McCarty go because we've "found the perfect person in Europe" to fill the position Dax would've played. There are a few cards yet to be played from what I can tell.

Yeah, he's definitely the best player available in this draft. My only reservation is that he's apparently a shit-stirrer and has fallen out with a few people over the last few years.
