  1. I'd like Xisco to get a proper chance. Maybe a sneaky bid in for Jones? Otherwise I'd rather look abroad and find the next "Zaki" and get him on the cheap.
  2. It was his first match there, of course his fucking PR manager is going to be there.

    Mark Hughes

Would not want him here. Simple as.
  4. I wish I could find a picture of someone shit stirring (or do I?). But that's what this is.
  5. There's a local pub here in Orlando owned by a Spud, I should roll down there this evening and have a little banter.
  6. Bullard would be nice because he can actually take a free kick unlike anyone in our side currently.
  7. Would rather we be in for Turan to be honest.
  8. Wise was in London this week.
  9. The beauty of players coming from "lesser" leagues is that they generally don't cost very much. If he's cheap, then I say he's worth a punt if he'll actually get some first-team minutes. If not, then fuck it and don't even bother. Btw, we do have Xisco who had in the top 3 (although there's some debate?) best goals/minute ratios in his league which was far superior to the Austrian league and he doesn't even get minutes on the pitch. Everything's relative.
  10. Can't deny that they are scoring goals. I think Martins does a fair bit to pull defenders away from Owen so that Owen can find space to prod home. That being said, I'd still like to see Viduka in there to add some creativity/hold up play - not at the expense of Owen or Martins though, at the expense of Butt/Guthrie/Barton.
  11. Would anyone like Ketsbaia here? Would he get the proper time a manager needs?
  12. Would love us to line up like that, but I doubt it'll happen.
  13. During Beckham's first MLS appearance there were very loud chants from the Barra Brava of DC United of "we sing better than your wife" along with large banners displaying the same thing. It may not be the best chant, but it was very good for a bunch of Americans (although to be fair the BB is one of the best support groups in MLS).
  14. He'd never get the time, surely. And he's probably a good enough businessman to realize that.
  15. If I remember correctly he used to play up there from time to time with Sheffield United. And to be fair, he did keep that ball alive today for their equalizer.

    Kinnear Out

This already? It's no wonder the media has a field day with us.
  17. No wonder we have so many injured players, look at the last photo and how horrible of a challenge Cacapa is putting it - at practice of all places. Whats that got to do with Nile? How dare I - I lost my head for a minute.

  19. Oh, you mean the owner(s) that give us transfer money? Yeah, please do take them for all you can, we don't need any new players.
  20. rose tinted glasses, etc, etc... although I do hope he gets back to his best, he really looked a player and could definitely help out Arsenal right now.
  21. Dunno if it's been said in this thread yet, but all hatred of S'land aside, Quinn is a class chairman. The Prem could do with a few more chairmen like him.
  22. Surely we should be in for him? Also some reports that Ashton's gotta be sold from West Ham, anyone else rate him (bar injuries)?
  23. I felt bad for him during his spell here. I think he's a decently good player, but anyone looks like shit when you're playing with Bramble to be fair.
