Would be massive, especially as the current young generation is not looking down on "soccer" and the MLS average attendances are getting higher season after season. It really would. People would love it here. Last WC we had the most ticket sales. I think it would do really well here.

I think they are just changing their name to give it a more "worldly" feel. I have no real clue if there's any relation to another club but I haven't heard any so that makes me feel like no.

Am I literally the only one that thought Lovenkrands didn't look that bad? I thought he wasn't great, but he definitely looked to get into good positions and was a little off the pace of the match on a whole. I think with a run in the team he could be a lot better. He also offers other something other than long-ball. If Barton were on the pitch I think Lovenkrands might've seen more of the ball.

He's gotta say that, I'd imagine. It's not really up to him anyway, someone has to bid 10-15+ for him for MLS to think it was worth it, since they are the ones in control of his contract.

Not really sure if that all was directed at me or not but for the record I don't look at Nile as a "scapegoat" - he definitely wasn't the worst person on the park on Wednesday - just that I think he really need to go out on loan, he looks a little lost out there on the pitch with the big boys. I would love to see him come good in black and white.

There was an instance in the Blackburn match that totally showcased that Nile isn't ready and that was when he got the through ball and just lashed at it, half cross half shot that ended up going out for a throw. He doesn't put a lot of effort in if the ball isn't around him and he's just very very unpolished. Really needs a loan deal.
