  1. Hayden kicks the ball and gets talked to. I've seen at least three obvious fouls from them that were ignored.
  2. We'd still desperately need someone to link the forward and midfield positions. A proper number 10 and not f***ing Shelvey. Agree, but that won't matter if we are a mess at the back.
  3. We'd be so much better with Yedlin, Lejeune, a new keeper, and a new LB.
  4. Anyone watching the first 15 min could see we need a GK who can kick and a LB.

    Steve McClaren

Think it's Charnley's worst decision (that we know about). We probably would have stayed up.
  6. It's still way better than FF where everybody has Lukaku etc. Anything is better than that. Trades are possible on both Togga and Draft Fantasy.
  7. Is there a reason why Michael Bridges would have any clue?
  8. Our league is on Togga this year (before that we used draftfantasyfootball.co.uk). Togga's website is ok - the app is really good. You could transfer existing teams to either site as offline drafts are supported (in different ways), but that might be a bit unfair if using Togga since the scoring system is so different. Just briefly, in what way is it so different? Scoring system: https://www.playtogga.com/scoring I lost my week 1 matchup, but I would have won on our old site which has scoring more similar to the official site (minus the bonus points). That's mainly because my opponent got 24 points from Oxlade-Chamberlain without registering a goal/assist. That would have been 2 points on the other site. We'll see how it goes, but it was definitely more interesting following things over the weekend.
  9. 100% with you about Coutinho, I actually think De Bruyne is a better player Not sure why you're saying that like it's controversial.

  11. Even funnier if they pay for Colback and have to pay a fine because of it too.
  12. Does FFP matter when you're in the Championship?
  13. There's definitely something a bit weird happening at Chelsea wrt to transfers so I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt on this one.
  14. Most expensive PL transfers based on transfer inflation...
  15. The Daily Star (I know) says we're interested in a loan (along with Brighton). That makes more sense.
  16. Not surprised they rejected it, think that's low by today's standards. He's worth more than that to WBA.
  17. To make things interesting you should all agree that the top 2 teams from each of the groups plus the two other highest scorers compete in Group A next season. The beginnings of N-O FPL Draft pyramid.
  18. The problem with your scenario is you're assuming that any of the 20 Premier League clubs do or should care about Real Sociedad, Aberdeen, or even Brentford.
  19. Sociedad don't want the Port Vale player in July, as Real Madrid haven't signed their player yet (for £5m in might add, far too good an offer to turn down). I agree with you by the way, Nuts off his nut :-D
  20. That was a serious post? I thought it was a joke.
  21. Sociedad don't have to sell (though this hypothetical works better with PL clubs). Port Vale can sell in July to fund toilets.
  22. I'm still not seeing the logic. If a club is so desperate for money they can still sell and if they are desperate for money to use on new players then they just change the timing. Sell player on July 15 instead of August 15.
  23. Money rules football and the Premier League is swimming in it right now, but that just means they can look out for their own interests. There's a competitive issue with not closing the window before the season starts and the PL has every right to decide they want to fix that. If that has an impact on a newly promoted La Liga club or a Scottish club then they'll need to adjust or UEFA can do something about it.
  24. Yup. Two of the best players in the league are "injured" and unavailable because of the current system. Depending on how long this takes they could miss 8% of the PL season for no reason. It's a farce.
