  1. So if Infantino wins we'll probably have 40 teams in the World Cup by 2026 or 2030. And if Salman wins it seems likely that the backroom deals, money laundering, and human rights issues will continue. Ruin the World Cup it is!
  2. 1. Sunderland 2. Pardew's teams until eternity 3a. Man Utd 3b. Liverpool Also really dislike West Brom, but that has more to do with the team going back to the Championship season and now Pulis.

Aside from the whole being an adult, presumably with an average or above IQ, with millions in the bank and a quality lawyer, he's exactly like Brendan Dassey.
  4. I'm sure Zlatan would relish a trip to Griffin Park.
  5. I have Arsenal winning the title on GD after Leicester stumbles on the final day at Stamford Bridge. mackems, Norwich, and Villa down. We barely survive. My observations after going through that highly flawed exercise: Barring a monumental collapse (not out of the question given the pressure and lack of experience), I don't see how Leicester finishes worse than 3rd. Remarkable. Seems very likely Chelsea finish in the top 7. I don't see any hope for Norwich. They will finish 19th. The derby will very likely decide whether us or the mackems finish higher, and will likely determine who gets relegated. We will probably be in the relegation zone until at least the derby and possibly into April. Going to be a serious test of nerves.
  6. Arsenal are the shortest team in the league this season. West Brom the tallest. That's all I've got for you.
  7. Pretty sure after Chelsea ruined Spurs 4th place finish they changed the rule so that a CL winner doesn't take a spot from a league qualifier. I don't know what the Europe League rule is - you'd think it would be the same as above, which would then put 6 teams, but who knows.

    Steve McClaren

Keegan took a while to get a tune out of Allardyce's s**** tbf. I'm not saying we'd be Barcelona in our next game if he took over now. But we're 26 games in. We'd be a damn sight better if he (or anyone competent) had that much time.

    Steve McClaren

People who think we are where we belong based solely on the playing staff available are delusional. Think about where Keegan would have this team. Nowhere near the utter garbage we're battling with right now, that's for sure.
  10. Would honestly take almost anyone on a temporary basis. Need either a proper manager and/or someone who can motivate. Right now we have neither.
  11. We are so nervy and devoid of confidence away from home. That can only come from the approach. He's got to go tomorrow.

    Steve McClaren

Needs to go tomorrow morning. We are going to be in the relegation zone until at least March 2. Pointless to even show up for away matches at this point. Thanks Steve, but it's time for a change.
  13. It's in our hands with the home games remaining. The extreme reactions to others results are pretty tiring.
  14. Sunderland 0-2 Man Utd Bournemouth 0-0 Stoke Crystal Palace 1-0 Watford Everton 2-0 West Brom Norwich 1-2 West Ham Swansea 0-1 Southampton Chelsea 1-2 Newcastle Arsenal 1-1 Leicester Aston Villa 0-2 Liverpool Man City 0-1 Spurs

    Graham Carr

Look, you're s***. anita is a ok, he's better than colback at literally everything for example so he's not the priority for getting rid There's definitely a good player in there. At the very least there is a player in there that is a more than adequate squad member in our current situation. He's the least of our problems.
  17. Say what you want about Liverpool fans, but they are probably the most effective supporters in the country at making things happen. There's no way they would be sitting idly by while Ashley destroyed the club.
  18. Sounds like Remy might be off to China. Cue outrage.

    Sunderland

Scum. What a piece of shit. I'll give the club a pass on everything to this point, unless we find out what they knew, but if he ever plays for them again they really are as awful as many of their fans.
  20. In fairness, baseball in San Diego was looking bleak when he took over. Pretty sure the team was thinking about moving due to stadium issues and he made sure they stayed put. He also sanctioned the money to put together a very good good team in his first few years. It's after that where things go downhill and the building of a competitor could definitely have been to garner local support and get a stadium built (with taxpayer dollars). He then, for the most part, stopped spending despite a new stadium opening and revenue sharing yielding extra millions from big market teams. And the way he exited is the worst part of all. He effectively stole $200m and got away with it.

This. McClaren's worst games were made worse by the frustrating fact that it felt like it could be better. Pardew's worst games, which always seemed to happen in bunches for maximum impact, felt like a slow death march with absolutely zero hope for the future. And then as soon as 90 minutes ended we had to listen to the insulting, vile garbage he spewed regularly
