A very nice problem to have.
  2. This is actually really difficult. Bruno is #1 for me for the combination of ability relative to price, making a statement, helping save us and helping us qualify for the CL and win a trophy. Tonali is incredible and quite the coup, but I'd say the suspension still drops him below other options. Trippier, Burn, and Isak can all be all be argued for different reasons.

Who is even our backup LB at the moment then if Burn needs a rest or gets injured? Trippier with Krafth at RB? Murphy? ...Botman? Kind of horrifying regardless.
  4. It's very hard to get those players in our position, especially the much coveted left-footed RW. We need to buy the next Olise a year or two earlier or find one from abroad.
  5. But would Elanga be productive in City or Arsenal's team facing low blocks most of the time? That's the debate really. It's possible and probably likely he's always better in a more open game, but I'm not sure why everyone overreacts so much to slow starts from new players. Has Eddie not shown time and again that the best is yet to come?

Sounds like he had a big night out.
  7. The penalty doesn’t count and the CL goal was a deflection. Isak’s assist was as good as a goal. 2-2. /scousermath
  8. They could really fold here if we keep on them and don’t react to what they are going to do.
  9. My brain is having a hard time between the disconnect of a million whistles and the things they are getting away with.
  10. Bruno or Joelinton doing something dumb is the biggest risk at the moment.
  11. I feel like this hasn’t been nearly as bad as the reactions in this thread. We’ve had a couple nice passages with the ball. We need to create more but they’ve done nothing and the amount of whistles is really interrupting play. If you told me the rest of the game would go like this I’d be very confident we come out winners.
  12. It depends on if they do anchoring (and how). And it also depends on the punishments and if they are transparent. There’s a big difference between facing a fine that’s a known amount vs. opaque and inconsistent point deductions.
  13. QF at WHL in December. The stars aligned as I was in London for work, so I sat quietly in the home end. Awful on the pitch, but incredible away support.
  14. €2.1m so like £1.8m, plus 2 coefficient points which helps with future money. Plus you get €275k* (it's actually more than this as the €700k saved from every draw goes into this pot) per position in the league phase and everyone who finishes in the top 24 gets an escalating coefficient bonus. The whole thing is like the world's greatest slot machine once you get going.
