  1. I'm really confused on how to pronounce his name. An-ick That's so strange I honestly thought commentators were just misreading his name when I first heard it. Since then I've been confused but my sincere thanks to you sir for bringing this into daylight for me.
  2. "It was a beauty from Remy Cabella after a lightning counter led by Vurnon Anita, but the linesman's flag wipes out what would have been a Newcastle breakthrough."
  3. The Suarez comparisons are a good shout IMO, always looks for similar touches, turns and ways to take players on. That's not to say they're on the same level, obviously. Hmm I guess so, he's not a bell though. Beardsley (player) isn't/wasn't that dissimilar to Suarez either thinking about. Short, worker, outrageous technique, can beat a man etc. etc. Arshavin (when he was good) reminded me of Beardsley. Used to love that daft c***. Me too. Thought he was gonna be the bees knees after he dicked Liverpool a few years back. Thought the same of Jose Reyes. And Julio Baptista. My judgement is poor.
  4. Now take this signature of yours and throw it into the abyss where it belongs.

  6. My brain is not willing to adhere to the fact of life that is West Bromwich Albion. I'm pretty sure I first heard of Alan Irvine when he was sacked the other day and Pulis took over. Just as I'm writing this I'm googling his name just to be absolutely sure it's Alan Irvine. I also did a quiz on Sporcle the other day to try and name all the teams that have played in the Premiership. I was able to name all of them bar West Bromwich fucking Albion. What an absolute black hole of irrelevance WBA is.
  7. Steve McClaren was a close friend to Sir Bobby no?
  8. Wow just saw the score. http://media.giphy.com/media/aZ3LDBs1ExsE8/giphy.gif
  9. His performance today... http://replygif.net/i/132.gif
  10. The approach for second half and the substitutions were just laughable. Riviere was doing an ok job and Armstrong is nowhere near ready to lead the line upfront just yet. Don't understand why Carver didn't just slot Haidara into left back when Taylor died as Dummett is a lot better in the center of defense. Tiote was a disaster and I barely noticed Colback. One of Coloccini's worst games for quite some time now.
  11. Are we sure Riviere knows the objective of playing the sport of football?
  12. If he finally leaves tomorrow... what an ending to an awful year.

  14. I'm sure he won't be offered the job, as that'd be absolutely ludicrous. But f***ing hell, man. Just absolutely no! Even the suggestion has me absolutely f***ing petrified. Reminds me of the rumors of Xavi being offered the Barça gig when Vilanova was forced to retire due to his health. Actually, It would be cool in a retro way to see a player/manager in a respectable team again, if it's just temporary. Just dawned on me that Chelsea had three consecutive player/managers in Hoddle, Gullit and Vialli in the 90's

  16. There are no talented managers from Newcastle (currently). Not even from England at all for that matter. When was the last time an English manager would have been considered world class? Sir Bobby? Allardyce and Pardew are probably the English managers with the best reputations right now. English football has seriously gone to shits hasn't it?

  18. I'd definitely take him but he is probably earning loads in Russia Then again AVB is probably being paid in euros or dollars and given the present economic situation in Russia they might be tempted to get rid. AVB has however probably had enough of England.
