  1. Clean sheet - The must A draw - The requirement A win - The icing on the cake. We're a tad unlucky the Liverpool game happened, it maybe caused us to be a tad cautious, however, we're an absolute fucking powerhouse as things stand. Arsenal will be nervous...
  2. A win today would be massive imo. Would set a shot across the bows that we're back and we still have momentum. Cannot see it, will be happy for a goalless draw smd thus a clean sheet, but by God if we win...
  3. No, that was my interpretation too. Most tellingly though - is that only three TFers have put forward for it, thus suggesting that not many others want to be involved or see the benefits of the trust. I think many are probably documented members but actually aren't arsed enough about it to cut off their membership. Hardly any people are actually active members so to speak. This has always been the case I reckon but probably none moreso than now.
  4. I think this is an echo chamber of predominantly one view mind. With regards to certain individuals and the trust. There are probably far more that hold a different view.
  5. Aye, I'm cancelling my membership like. I believe in a trust but not this one. Need to work out how to do it.
  6. Grim. Thought they said he was fine the other day... Gotta be an extra reason for Brazil to be pumped for this world cup.
  7. For me it was more to do with the goalkeeper's positioning and footwork on both rather than the size of the goals. Just some general observations I had yesterday: 1) Poor goalkeeper's - both sides really lacked a good keeper, and this was largely down to positioning and footwork. 2) Poor decision making - The wrong decisions were made a number of times especially when in dangerous positions 3) Lack of heading - They all seemed to duck out of headers unless absolutely necessary 4) Our number 3(?) at CB was a cut above, had coordination, technique and a great understanding of the game 5) Lack of Aggression - There wasn't the same intensity to the play as with the men, perhaps because the size of the occasion, I'm not sure, but it was noticeable second half when Newcastle upped the ante they seemingly, quite easily got on top 6) Excellent turnout with a lot of women and kids, this should really be a case of, if games can be played at SJP, even during a week, more often then it'd massively benefit them and the community to get involved Appreciate there's a lot of negative feedback amidst the above and in summary the standard was very poor compared to men's PL and especially our football at present. However, it's to be expected really. It's a game we've spent 130 years playing and the lasses haven't had anywhere near that time or investment in them. I'm almost certain that their growth in the next 3 years will be outstanding and the growth in the women's game as a whole will also continue significantly especially after such inspirational wins as the women's Euros.
  8. Anyone else find the tickets difficult to get via the site? Doesn't seem to be in the obvious 'ticket' section... I got two like. In the end.

Bewed players right to express their support for the equal treatment of Black folk only a fortnight or so ago, now they're back to being beacons of humanity. Bell ends.
  11. Not to my knowledge, but I was only on the board for like 3months
  12. No I don't think he ever said that tbf.
  13. I don't know, but the fact he wasn't supposed to be interfering with play ads a substitute just wasn't sure what could be applied.
  14. Arguably a Red card for me. I don't know the actual rules around it but for me I'd have probably accepted that if was given. Either way, it was worth it and I'm glad he did it.
  15. Absolutely this. Good on Lascelles, playing his part even if off the pitch. We are one. We are United. Do not fuck with us.

  17. We had a big hand off a number of helpers tonight and thankfully got the display knocked out in good time. Looking forward to tomorrow now.
  18. The display(s) are mindful of Remembrance but also that we're heading into the world cup in an unbelievable position. I think to emulate the Arsenal game display wise for this wouldn't quite be appropriate but I hope our displays inspire fans to make it a cauldron of noise after respecting the silence.
  19. I like this and I know we're often mindful of various campaigns and initiatives so I think those in the group will appreciate this idea and it's intent. Whilst it may not be a large display or anything like that it might be that we do this as an exit flag or player flag. I have previously expressed that LGTBQ and SRTRC flags etc should be mainstays rather than one off displays. Perhaps this is something we can incorporate too.
