  1. Still got plenty faith me, actually think we'll stay up too. Thought 2-0 was to some degree flattering to Arsenal and fancy us to get 6 points this next week. My concern with Howe is that we may only know one way to play, I suspect not, as he's done his homework by the sounds of it, and even then "we'll score more than you" isn't exactly a stupid notion.

    Dogawful Officiating

Thought the refereeing was piss poor yesterday like. No consistency and borderline biased.
  3. Wilson is fantastic, conlmfortably one of our best players. Got fuck all today. Once we becone more dangerous in other areas Wilson will absolutely boss it. Proper number 9
  4. I can be an arsehole... They have their uses
  5. Every game feels like a six pointer now and every game feels like a mini cup tie as we're now hated. These are the sorta spineless bastards I can see us beating though. So 4-0... Arsenal.
  6. Accurate summary. He's going about things the wrong way here though, and so are the trust. Who'd have thought, 'fan engagement' holds the key... Wish someone suggested that...
  7. This individual DM'd me on Twitter, seemingly intent on me dishing dirt on why I left the Trust. As always is the case, there is a Black side and a white side to this debate but the reality is somewhere in the merky grey middle ground. There are some accuracies in what's being said, but there's seemingly alterior motives at play too. I find it a bit peculiar going to such lengths to drag volunteers through the dirt, but similarly I agree that if you want to lead such an organisation then you need to be thorough and accountable. I could spill out all my reasons and versions of events, ones which wouldn't paint this guy tweeting in a good light, wouldn't paint the trust in a good light and to some wouldn't paint me in a good light. What I don't get is that, in a time when we require unity and a siege mentality with all but results going right for us, why would anyone want to be so disruptive? We're all in it for NUFC, or so I always naively thought, until I was about 22 (10 years ago). I will say this though, in this day and age every club should have a trust and a trust that is representative of its fans not just it's membership. Clubs belong to their communities.

    Joelinton

Joelinton has had it rough like. The price tag wasn't his fault, the being olayed in a system that doesn't suit him and sometimes out of position wasn't his fault. The lack of training and coaching wasn't his fault. The abuse he was receiving wasn't rigjt or fair, and subsequently has confidence and desire took a hiding. That for me was when I perhaps joined those in their frustration with Joelinton, those games where he looked like he couldn't give a shit and where he moped about. I guess that's human nature, we can all say how that amount of money would motivate us regardless but the fact of the matter is none of have or will be in a position to prove it. Bad management and poor performance breeds negativity. I don't think we have a £40million player here and frankly that deal seems off to me, but I do think you'll see twice the player than before, now and I will love absolutely every minute of that lad enjoying it. He's a grafter like, and hard work is all I ask.
  9. I agree it most definitely will be changed, but I feel it looks English, rather than dated. None of this americanised sports team shit.
  10. For me it's either the coat of arms or present day. The coat of arms says so much more than the rest but is a bit too red and not really football clubby enough. Therefore, I opted for the present crest.
  11. Done a fantastic job in raising the funds like, it must be said.
  12. Not sure why you wouldn't crop the bank balance out of it like... Such a shame that the way people act puts a dampener on such a kind act.
  13. We might look to do this at some point moving forward like
  14. It took some time and rightly so but we're developing a very, very unique relationship with certain people at the club. Important people. The ones who make it what it is.

    Lee Charnley

I couldn't because I cannot keep my mouth shut. Even for that salary. Whoch os fine by me but not by my wallet

    Lee Charnley

Unpopular opinion probably and happy to stand corrected with facts, but for me he was just someone who struck lucky under the last regime, one of the very few, kept his head down and towed the company line. Great to see him gone, but I don't really hold too much animosity towards him.
  17. First 3 points tomorrow. You heard it here first. 100% certified.
  18. Reckon he might become a club ambassador or such like me.

    England

Just think they're a lot more unified in their Scottishness and just having a good time. Seems too forced with England.

    England

Bland as fuck England. Hard to get any excitement from them until the latter stages of a tournament. Fans are shite and songs are shite. We probably have like 3/4k who are genuinely proper England fans who know their shit. A lot of the rest are either like me, or are band wagon jumping dickheads who toss pints for no reason other than to be #Lads and frankly it's just a bit, well, urgh. Well, I got that off my chest... Scotland on the other hand...
  21. What was so relevant about this Kate Stewart BTW. Like it was just a fake account wasn't it? I don't really follow this stuff.
  22. I don't know if he quite gets the area yet, that'll come with time, but I do think he gets 'it' somewhat with regards to football alone. I'd like to think that come January, he'll adore it here and by the end of the season will be adored. All this shit about Geordies only wanting Geordies, etc. Twaddle.
