Giving someone the number 9 now I would want it to be someone who can hopefully wear it in the Premier League next year. It shouldn't be just a number for someone at this point.

I can understand the Ronaldo versus Messi argument, separating those two is nearly impossible. But I really can't get my head wrapped around how people can THAT hateful towards Zlatan. He is like a spice that makes food taste better even when you look away from what he has accomplished in terms of titles etc. Yes he is missing the Champions League and some sort of international team success, but as a footballer it is hard for me to understand how you can dislike him. But that's OK though, people are allowed to their own opinion and all, still think it's sad that people write off a player that has that extraordinary talent which we often complain about not existing.

We got these emotionless robots running around getting applauds for no reasons and here you got a player with some flair and out-of-the-box attitude who actually delivers titles looking away from the Champions League as if that is some sort of indicator for success, yeah let's hate on that. On top of that he has delivered in all of the top leagues, except the one league that claims to be the best without winning anything of significance outside Chelsea and Manchester United which you can compare to the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus, Milan, Inter/(PSG I'll step back on the PSG claim to the point where they at least have gone fairly long into the final stages with him on the team) to some part whom all have done the same.

What a fucking shitshow this tournament has been. You know, this must legit be the least interesting tournament in ages, well that's how I feel. So much negativity on and off the field. I'm in general pretty happy about these tournaments but man, it is really hard to care. Hopefully it will pick up later on after the group stages.

So obvious Sweden would play like this, no creativity at all and players hiding. Such a negative set-up and only show urgency when they go down first. Don't expect anything from this team and don't even see a reason for them to advance as I would rather see teams that plays attractive football go to the next rounds.

Everton has given up the season, same as Chelsea and Watford. What a run in it turned out to be for Sunderland huh? Everton and Chelsea would have looked on as a difficult one at the start of the season. Now they are just cruising.

Sometimes a talented player like Townsend just need a new environment to fulfil a potential, sadly that place will never be at a club like Newcastle, which makes this signing pretty pointless as he will just be wasted or injured. Nothing good will come out of this, it is more the opposite.
