As far as I can remember we had Bowyer, Ambrose, Dyer and Milner who could all play on the right and allow our best player (which was undoubtedly Bellamy at that time) to play in his proper position. I seem to remember one match when we had Shola, Bellamy, Kluivert, Robert, and Shearer all on the pitch. The fella was a mentalist, man. I know there only kids but really we should have kids capable of judging the bounce at the very least :-) surprised big Sam hasn't done anything, we must lose 4-5mins per game min due to them, and in games like derby at home 1-2 down you really need to keep things going.

great post, however what most people are worked up about is IF we had picked up points in places where we should have we would be right up there, really we should have had 4points off Derby, 1min home to Portsmouth 3 at boro etc etc...i suppose every team could say that but we really have chucked points away this season at silly places.

as the above says if theres ever a game for trying the players in a simple formations/correct positions etc its this one, we need to have a more attacking line up and leave out battelers/cloggers like Smith,Butt and Geremi Given Beye Cacapa Roz(faye if fit) Enrique Milner Barton Emre Nzogbia Martins Viduka But its a tough one for Big Sam as anything other than a good win will be a disaster and its a risk making changes to a winning side.
