  1. I'd wager that we'd be in for Di Maria if he wasn't so unFrench. He's the most unFrench man in football today, apart from maybe Jason Culina. It depends how you're measuring Frenchness, if it's by their ability to have been born in France, then those two definitely fall short.
  2. Let's sell Cabaye Yohan Cabaye Just to get some cash in hand Cos once we've sold Cabaye Yohan Cabaye We can sign Jimmy Briand
  3. "It is understood it is" Ryder goes Victorian-era cockney child.
  4. that plaque was probably the classiest thing we've done in years until the last line, which pretty much contradicts what the gates supposedly symbolise. As has been mentioned, the placement of the gates themselves is ridiculous and are fittingly more symbolic of a dead end. Why are they back anyway? Are we meant to be grateful they're back? I didn't even know we ever had gates.
  5. He deserves better. I know things didn't quite work out for him today but you can tell he really wants us to do well. Just feel bad for him tbh.
  6. Got to say this scantily clad woman in the corner of my screen is getting more and more tempting. Don't judge me!
  7. this isn't going to be popular but probably Michael Owen after World Cup 98.
  8. Home yes Televised if you live outside of the UK and it's archaic rules. and when is it to be played?
  9. 2 questions. Are we at home for this and is will it be televised?
  10. on an unrelated note I remember signing Kwame Ayew for a free on Football Manager back in 2005. I was managing Reading and instantly gave him the number 9 shirt, hoping he could deal with the pressure of wearing one of football's most iconic shirts. The fans expressed disappointment in his performances after a month or so and I ended up dropping him for Dave Kitson, who was an absolute revelation and scored 20 odd league goals that season. Anyway, carry on.
  11. forgot how good looking Barry Fry was.
  12. I hope they had a Nice time! (Nice as in pleasant, not the city in France, despite the use of an upper case 'N' as if it were being referred to as a noun. [i also don't wish they had a pleasant experience because I don't particularly like any of the people involved, unless that really is Lee Carsley.])
