  1. At the start of the season I was telling everyone I knew that Beye would prove himself to be one of the best right-backs in the league. Sure, he's done well, but not as well as I suggested. He was much better at Marseille, and hopefully will be next season.
  2. If N'Zogbia really wants out, switch Milner to the left permanently. If he goes to Spurs, then we have to go for Bentley, without a doubt. If Bentley does decide to leave and Spurs end up signing him then we need to show interest in Lennon. The same goes for Chelsea with Sean Wright-Phillips. Pennant is supposedly going to be released in the summer so he is another option. Obviously, it's all ifs right now.
  3. I was at the game today, and I can honestly say that the second half performance was one of the finest I have ever seen.
  4. Instead, they have Sagna who is in my opinion a far more sustainable answer to the position.

    Reyes a Target

He complained about the cold as well, which really wouldn't serve him well up here.

  7. All the rumours in the papers link Ramos to La Liga players, it will be interesting to see if he goes for N'Zogbia.

  9. I think all of your choices would be good signings, with the exception of Reyes.
  10. Why do you have such an intense dislike of Faye? Isn't he quite well known for being an open racist (Northern Monkey)?
  11. Looks like he's going now, but it will be a great shame if he goes to a rival like Spurs. I'd rather he go to Arsenal (if he must go to London) or abroad.
  12. That would be 4 Scottish players and an Australian. Oh, I thought he meant players from the SPL. That would be 4 Scottish players and an Australian. and another plays for ireland and a further one is english. Eh?
  13. Scott McDonald? Aiden McGeady? Steven Fletcher? Kris Boyd? Scott Brown?

    For Those Who

First time I've stayed till the final whistle since Keegan has been in charge (been to 4 games).
  16. Doesn't Carr's contract expire in the summer? Maybe, sorry if I've got some facts wrong. To be honest I don't really pay much attention to anything to do with Carr. I'm not sure to be honest, don't care either. We just need to get rid of him.
  17. Doesn't Carr's contract expire in the summer?
  18. I think he may have been injured at the end of the game. He was walking very strangely and then tried to run (it off).
  19. This has to be our first choice back four. Beye looked very assured today at right-back and he is starting to play more like he did at Marseille, although it would be good to see him putting crosses in like he used to. Taylor looked pretty solid and was committed for 90 minutes. It made me laugh when he sprinted back into position in the 82nd minute after ambitiously going forward for a free-kick. Faye looked good, but he wasn't really threatened in all fairness. Enrique impressed me today, strong in the tackle and in the air, he dealt with Davies relatively well. He does definetly have some sight and I think he and N'Zogbia could work well together on the left. As good as our defence looked today, it is important to remember how poor Fulham were today. They never really threatened and their strikers seemed completely impotent. Spurs away will be a real test for our new defence.
  20. In January, whenever Michael Owen came into conversation I suggested that we should only sell him if he doesn't end the season with 5 league goals. I'm glad he is seemingly past his injury problems, and scoring.
  21. 2-1 Martins, Owen and Bullard.
