He's more of a supporting striker, like Tevez used to be for example, than an attacking midfielder. I saw Lazio play two or three times last season and he played as the support striker from quite a deep position, he scored 11 goals in 33 games. This season he's playing as a Striker and is on 8 goals in 15 games.

He's better just behind the striker(s). But he does play in a role where you only really need one player in front of him.
