how can you be so certain that the money we got for AC is all going to be spent on new players? yes they have said it will be going back into the club and not ashleys pocket. but they have not said in what way. it could be used to page wages, clear debt any number of things. i cannot see us spending 35million on new players in the summer. and the new contract for CT i'd imagine is simply a way to tie him to the club and automatically up the asking price from any potential buyers.

as far as the club is concerned we strengthened. we signed a fan favorite on a permanent deal(Ben arfa) and we got Stephen Ireland in. The departure of Andy Carroll was bound to happen as soon as somebody came in with enough cash. We also should accept the fact that as long as ashley is in charge every player on the books is for sale. if the price is right. I'd imagine that Tiote will be away in the summer, regardless of if we stay up or not

we wont be able to sign any body half decent from the prem league we will have to import talent or get it from the lower leagues. we simply will not pay the wage demands of most prem league players. its both a good thing and a bad thing. good becuase it means we only really sign players that want to play for us and not the money. and bad because we cant get anybody of real proven premiership quality
