  1. Give Krul his chance. He's young and hungry and is far quicker than harper. Than scramble for the ball in the everton game where he was on his back but caught the ball and held it, would have been in if it was Harper(or Rob Green) We do need a backup keeper though incase Krul gets injured. would love to see given come back on loan, only to sit on the bench
  2. Think he's awesome. he's always funny as fook, but he's arrogant as owt and to be fair if I had his record i would be as well people complain his teams play dirty football, but he must have something more to offer if he can get helsea to win the league and get inter to where they are atm i would sex wee my pants and hail the 2nd coming of the lord if he were to come to the toon and be given 60mil to spend. (yes I know its never going to happen, but one can dream)

    Sports Direct

bet 50p that our next shirt sponsor will be the cheap tat that is lonsdale and will have sports direct plastered across the front. a lonsdale shirt that under normal conditions would cost a fiver will still be the same price they are charging for our current kit.
  9. have to go with the drogs have admired his skill since he scored a hat trick against us before he joined chelski
  10.       Thats all that can be said really. Its becoming clear that Ashley has no intention of getting rid of us, he only says he wants to in order to get the fans off his back, then when things have simmered down a bit he appoints a manager and says he's going to invest. Wonder if I could get a got long term bet at the bookies that we'll sign 1 or 2 cheap, crap players. get promoted, then be bottom of the prem by this time next year, Hughton gets the boot, fans kick off. and Ashley wants to sell, leaving us with no manager and no signings in Jan. and this stadium name changing thing is just a pile of scheming money making crap. watch us end up being at a stadium called something stupid like "the sports direct soccer stadium" it will always be St James park to the people and fans of Newcastle no matter what that fat git does

  15. clearly he did the job for us today, and yes he made mistakes but he's young. In keeper terms he's only a kid. if he was to cost us the season, i'm more inclined to blame bad coaching and crap management. there is no doubt he has talent but it has to be developed properly
  16. Thought we did alright but there were loads of mistakes and certain players can be pinpointed as problems in our squad. Colo, Raylor and Shola. Colo cant defend, there is no way in hell he is worth 10mil, we got fleeced to f**k on that one. Raylor, cant pass to save his bollox, gave the ball away far too much and has no pace. Shola, omg. he's like bambi on ice. totally useless. Chris Hughton is no manager either, made poor decisions, and based on the reported bust up with our overpaid resident jailbird joey looks like he does'nt have much respect from the team either. Pulling Carol off and leaving shola up front on his own when he cant barely handle being up front with somebody else. I would leave him out and give ranger and carol a go up front, drop nolan and replace him with guthrie(when fit) or even Kazenga lualua. Smith played well and was one of the few that looked like they gave a damn, as did staylor, and carol. thought the passing and movement for the creation and scoring of duffs goal was excellent and hope we can do that every week.
  17. I think Krul is a a hot prospect as far as keepers go. I saw it in the game against Palermo and have read good reports about him from his loan spells up and down the country. I would definately like to see him get the nod more often, and I think that given the right coaching he could be one of the top keepers in any league. My biggest fear is that like bassong, he will have a few good performances and be snatched up by another club for next to nothing.
  18. RIP Sir Bobby sad to see you go
  19. exactly based on the history of lack of communication from ashley and his retarded fishsquirels a denial this quick seems greatly out of character for them

    RIP sale thread.

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5417512,00.html "Newcastle have received at least three bids for the club which meet owner Mike Ashley's £100million asking price. Ashley put the club back on the market shortly after they slipped out of the Premier League at the end of last season. Managing director Derek Llambias has confirmed that several parties are continuing to hold talks as hopes of a swift deal grow. He said: "There have been more than two bids at £100million. "At the moment, we are in the hands of lawyers and it is all ongoing. "We are giving interested parties all the help that they need." Consortium The identities of the bidders remain under wraps with all having signed non-disclosure agreements before being granted access to the club's books. Llambias is understood to have shown a Malaysian consortium around St James' Park and the club's training ground last week, while the Singapore-based Profitable Group and former chairman Freddy Shepherd are known to have held discussions with Seymour Pierce, the investment bank handling the sale. However, amid suggestions that there have been offers at lower prices - the Malaysians were said to have bid £80million, but agreed to take on an overdraft of up to £40million - Llambias is adamant that £100million remains the figure prospective buyers need to meet. The Magpies were put up for sale days after Ashley and Llambias held talks with Alan Shearer over the manager's job, and that vacancy is still to be filled. Shearer is keen to take on the role, but it is caretaker boss Chris Hughton who is currently putting the players through their paces at a pre-season training camp in Ireland as talks behind the scenes continue" same yawn worthy drummed up media rollox
