  1. Would be amazing tbh if that happened. Or, as Skirge would say, "fkn amazing tbh yakna"
  2. Apparently some ratty looking blonde bloke with his headphones in and with a pint of Guinness in hand has just flounced out of the stadium because we've been so poor.
  3. Harper has to make another full-stretch save
  4. Oh for fucks sake. Why couldn't it be Nolan?!!?
  5. How the fuck am I going to get to the ground in two hours?
  6. Shame the fans are fucking shite. I agree though, the location and general ambience of the ground are excellent. You barely notice home fans when you're in the away end anyway. I was in the home end on my last visit there, right next to the away fans (Riverside Stand) and there was barely a whisper from the home lot despite the fact they were winning for most of the match and weren't behind for any of it. The Villa fans in the away enclosure were fantastic all game long and the Fulham lot just sat and snoozed in the sunshine despite the fact their side were playing some nice football. Away and home fans mingled around the beer tents though with no trouble at all, reminded me of a pre-season friendly somewhere nice and quaint. Weather was lovely too. I meant in general. Away fans are always far louder than homes. The only real noise I heard from a home end all season was at the Brittania. Aye, but you still get chants from at least pockets of the home fans. There was literally nothing from the whole home crowd, apart from one airing of "Ful-ham *clap clap clap*" just before halftime. Did you see them parading Al Fayed before the game with that stupid song btw? They are Real Madrid, they are Barcelona, we are Fulham Eff-Err-See and we are gonna own ya! They've got no points we've got three, hoo-hoo, ha-ha, hee-hee! Whilst Al Fayed comes out twirling a scarf. Dunno if they do that every game like but I pissed myself as did my mates and my dad, whereas the home fans just looked non-plussed as the Villa lot roared WHAT THE FUCKING HELL WAS THAT?

  9. the ice rink is a give away And the "Whitley Bay F.C" sign on the main stand. That isn't a "guess" one man, I made a seperate thread for that. Gods own country though is Hillheads Park.

  11. We need a "guess the ground" thread imo, where someone posts an obscure photo of a ground and people have to guess what it is.
  12. Is there any radio coverage of this game?

    RIP sale thread.

Clue's in the title and all that.

    RIP sale thread.

Hughton has been pissed about. Since he came here he has done the following: - Assistant to Keegan - Caretaker manager as well as a coach after Keegan left - Coach/assistant under Kinnear, doing basically all the training sessions - Caretaker manager as well as a coach again when Kinnear got ill - Coach under Shearer - Caretaker manager as well as a coach for a third time as the club sale drags on From a man who was brought in just to help Keegan out, I reckon he's done... not a 'good' job, but well for the club in that he's gotten on with things with all the shit around him and tried his best to help out as much as he can, and not gone mouthing off to the media. He's put the club before himself imo.

I've been saying that for ages, the man deserves a fucking medal the way he's been treated. If you remember, he only joined the club to give Keegan a hand.
  16. I actually like Yorkshire puddings, and it was just because he said "Sunday Lunch team" ffs. How many other Sunday lunch type gags can I come up with from the eleven blue team players ffs? Nixon is more into Italian food.

Hope he's right. Although, I'm fairly certain he won't be.

    RIP sale thread.

A sixth might have gone but we normally only do business in the last third or so.
  19. I suppose you could say that about the blues - they had a yorkshire pudding at right back and a bloke with a boiled potato head up front.

    Memorabilia

You mean the game he got the record breaking goal in? Those type of badges are quite common but anything associated with that game has extra value because of the significance. Another good one is the FA Cup program from the Man Utd v NUFC game. Anything from Man Utd's treble year and you can stick an extra £10- £40 on it. Sorry, sorry, yes I mean the game where he got the record breaking goal. Like I said though, they were sold in the club shop before the game and they only had a few left by the end which were ofc snapped up dead quickly.
