  1. Of course he doesn't. No matter what he feels for NUFC, there's still a business side he knows about. We're worth much less money if we go down.
  2. By the time I'm finished with you you'll be a walking bruise. :colo:
  3. Xisco, Enrique, Carroll and N'Zogbia.
  4. cp40 I always try backheels and fancy flicks despite being technically limited. It'll drive Venkman and our wingers insane after about 15 minutes
  5. I hope so much that we play long ball. And if our team is winning I might drop into midfield to help close the game down, I can do a job as a DM, (basically cos I can tackle and pass six yards) if the two CM's want to push forward a bit.
  6. Aye, and some photos of the warm-up etc as well. Just get as many photos as we can and do a very comprehensive match report. Also we should do a poll open only for attendees to give each other play ratings.
  7. CB, I think, stopper, the prophet is going to do my running. Heh, wonder if you'll end up marking me or not. Bet you end up lashing a 35-yarder into the top corner as well.
  8. cp40 seemingly can't wait to get on his stepladder and knock seven bells out of me.
  9. Liverpool vs Everton Man United and Spurs gone and we're at home... MILLWALL OR CREWE
  10. What? Mate of mine tells me the bid was accepted. It's all up to Ranger now. Are you sure?
  11. It would be class mind if it was just scaps of paper in someones minging old trilby. Indeed it would.
  12. Why do managers still say "we're in the hat", it's more like a bloody industrial food mixer.
  13. Been a cracking game like this. Fair play to both teams.
  14. Not long now. Looks as though Villa will be going through.
  15. I hope you don't mean Matt Derbyshire. I do, I like what I've seen of him. Not the best player but a decent finisher, good movement and positioning too. My best friend is a Blackburn fan, and he says that Derbyshire will come off the bench, score and be a match winner, start the next game, and then look completely out of his depth. I agree he has shown glimpses, but he isn't good enough for our first team I don't think. If you are coming off the bench one game then starting the next its hard to produce some kind of form, to get into a good rhythm, especially at that age, Walcott has or had the same problem, Lennon when he first burst onto the scene and others. From what I've seen of him and how highly the Blackburn fans seem to rate him I'm surprised he isn't a regular. One thing that might go against him is he has no real identifiable traits i.e. he's not a true centre-forward and he's not a link up forward either, he's more of a fox in the box type player not too dissimilar to Owen perhaps, a player who for years has been the topic of trying to fit in to build a team around or to find a suitable partner for for a number of managers and clubs. I do like him though, for someone so young he seems a cool finisher and gets himself into the right places at the right times. Bit lightweight but that's not a real big problem IMO. I agree with you when you say he isn't one type of striker. I do however think he's a very difficult player to judge the ability of.
  16. On this bitterly cold morning? It's ten to three.
  17. What a great goal, punt, flick-on, flick-on, turn, and a great FIFA-esque finish.
