  1. yes if they think like this they start Keller brilliant thought it was Hey, Hodgson dropped Niemi for Keller recently. Niemi is 'out of favour' despite several quite brilliant displays. I'm not complaing myself, however.

Hell yeah. Thing is, if we scored first against Brum we'd have been gutted, but we showed great spirit and a much better style of play in the second half - showing fight that we didn't think we had in us. So aye, bring on Fulham... not a guaranteed win but couldn't pick a much better fixture at this point. 1st time in a long time i'm looking forward to a game. me too! and it's on the telly here in the USA! huzzah! Fulham are playing live at St. James Park... The All-American Rejects

Hey, if Fulham were a band they'd be the All-American Rejects No wonder it's on in the USA!
  4. I hope that Fulham play Keller in nets, he's much more liable to make mistakes than Niemi is.
  5. If it gives him a Michael Owen of an injury, go for it
  6. Yeah, remember people saying that before Derby away. Hope your right though. If we get one early, it may definatley be the case.
  7. The only players in Fulham's team that offer any remote threat to Harper's goal are McBride, Bullard and Johnson. Keep those three quiet and we should be able to grind out a win here, no problem. Faye needs to play despite his shocker on Monday night - McBride is a big lad who doesn't take any prisoners in the air.

    Oba...Obafem

What did he actually do that was so great? Hit a shot that Owen scored the rebound from, had another shot that was tipped wide? Nothing else stands out really. I don't think anyone was that great quality wise, they just showed a bit more effort and passion than usual. He had Jaidi on his arse on several occasions, he ran him ragged during the game. He broke with pace and control, and generally looked a bit better in every department.
  9. Yeah, I was at the aforementioned Birmingham (h) game, and the crowd's relief when the goal went in was plain for all to see. We were on a bit of a bad run at the time and we played a bit crap on the day, remember Pandiani hitting the bar and us looking shaky as usual, but Emre was class that game, he managed to be a creative midfielder and an engine at the same time. He's like Viduka: Keep him fit and he is very good. Don't keep him fit, he is a waste of space.

    Oba...Obafem

Someone on the True Faith website said in their summary of the match that they thought Martins was anonymous in the first half and poor in the second. What game was he watching?
  11. He can't be any worse than N'Zogbia or Geremi, that's for sure.
  12. Turning a corner? Wish Geremi could turn a corner... past the first man that is
  13. Nail on head. Signing past-it players from bigger clubs has to stop. We need players who are using a transfer to Newcastle as a step up in their career, not a step down or one big last payday before they pack it in.
  14. I think we should all just be thankful that Smith was dropped, whether or not you think Viduka is worth his place in the starting line-up. I for one hope he starts against Fulham, might be a chance for him to get back on the goal trail.
  15. If only the first team could get 2 goals in stoppage time...
  16. Mon the Shola Could still be hope for the lad yet. Maybe.
  17. I agree about Godsmark, he's looked really good whenever I've seen him. Glad he's got a pro contract He's so fast. Hope he doesn't become Alan O'Brien MKII though - (bags of pace but no crossing ability at all.)

    Pleased he's back, for real.

    Oba...Obafem

Oba wanted to sign a new five year contract as little as 2-3 weeks ago, something this small won't change his commitment to the club?
  20. From what I've heard from Kev, Kadar seems to be ahead of Tozer in terms of a look-in for the first team. Plus, Kadar's been playing as left-back and Tozer as a left centre-back.
  21. Shola? If he was ginger then he would fit the bill there...
