This is a great point. Liverpool would have won the league by about 40 points for the last ten years on the run if it wasn't for the mid-table fodder they signed like Sadio Mane, Jordan Henderson, Andy Robertson, Virgil van Dijk, Georginio Wijnaldum etc weighing them down.

A superhuman effort from him to play as much as he has this season, largely playing brilliantly with a constantly differing backline and keeper around him. Christ alone knows who we'll play there if Burn or Krafth get hurt in the final four matches.

Love the thing where he's suggested he's been sidelined because he's "old and white".
