I really don't want to go into work again having lost another derby. People again playing down the importance of it I would hazard a guess don't work with any of our friends over the river. He's putting in the yards and doing the basics well. He's 1 in 3 basically so you know he'll pop up with important goals even when he's a little off the boil from an attacking sense, so it's worth keeping him on the pitch at key moments.

Did all the basics well today and didn't make any huge fuck ups. He's done that a fair few times and still ended up conceding so I'm pleased he posted a clean sheet, it was really well deserved.

I agree, but also think the noticeable nature of that change does give some weight to those of us who were saying his attitude and demeanour didn't look great a couple of months ago. Still, only a good thing that he seems more tuned in for the team effort and hopefully it stays that way.

Really good, he's starting to find a little bit of consistency and discipline in his performances now. When he's having an "on" day in that striker role he looks very impressive. I've given him his share of pelters so only fair he gets the praise.

Felt like tonight was the first time he was awarded the fouls he's been suffering all season. Didn't think the ref was spectacular by any means but he handled Woltemade fairly which is super rare.
