Watching England is like watching Neighbours... the plot and characters are the same no matter when you tune in, not much happens, and you can do almost anything else whilst it's on and not miss much. That said, it would be more entertaining if we randomly had Karl Kennedy playing off Kane.

Disagree tbh. In a lot of circumstances applause is better; when celebrating the life of someone who had a good innings and didn't die in some atrocity or disaster of course. One of my pals is a Blackburn fan, he said years ago they had 2 minutes silence for Jack Walker at the first home game after he died; totes emosh, not a dry eye in the house, almost eerie quietness even after the 2 minutes were over... and Blackburn two goals down within 15 minutes. Always stuck with me that.

Thought he looked really ropey early doors but seemed to settle down after 20 odd minutes. Even on their off-days, playing against Salah, Mane, Sturridge etc isn't easy and he ciped pretty well.

When Sturridge came through at him second half he flew out and claimed it first, was a great bit of keeping.

Tbf to MOTD2 they talked about us playing well more than Liverpool being bad finishers and gave Shelvey some praise. Much better from them today.
