  1. Agree, I was harsh on Krul tbf. Can't really choose between Cisse, Taylor, Debuchy, Colo and Tiote for worst player. All of them beyond hopeless.

    Paul Dummett

Why the fuck were the Sky lot wanking over Navas second half? Dummy blocked every cross that he attempted. Bright spot tonight, well done. P.s. fuck whoever told me bringing Dummy off the bench tonight was a bad idea so readily.
  3. Krul 7 Debuchy 4 Coloccini 5 Taylor 3 Yanga Mbiwa 5 (Dummett) 6.5 Tiote 3 Gutierrez 5 (Anita) 4 Sissoko 5 Ben Arfa 6.5 (Sammy Ameobi 3.5) Gouffran 5 Cisse 2.5 Wrote that straight after FT on my phone. Cisse was weak as water tonight. Maybe if he'd had a pre-season spent playing instead of crying about our shirt sponsors he might have had some form of impact. Tiote, Taylor (not a red but thank fuck he misses some games now), Anita, Debuchy, Colo, fuck me. Pitiful. Krul, HBA and particularly Dummett deserve credit. Navas didn't get a clean cross in 2nd half. Horrid. Fuck football.... Again!
  4. Little piece in today's Star saying Kinnear was offered Jefferson Montero but he's off to Palace for 6m instead.
  5. Thought 8/11 for Spurs today was class so went with a double including Chelsea. Also a smaller stake on the same double in -1.

Right now 2.5; whilst the injuries excuse was overplayed last year, we did have a fair few and although I don't think we will pull up many trees we should be comfortable in 12th or so. Hopefully Downey can work her magic and keep the likes of HBA fit, depending on the quality of the promoted teams etc we could even sneak top half. We will see.
  7. aye (play mapou at LB) and nah (to the rest). Why not? By the 60-70 minute mark we'll be at least 2 or 3 goals down so we might as well give him a run-out.
  8. I'd personally play Mapou LB and bring Dummett off the bench at some point; to reward him for his progress and blood him in the league.
  9. Glad it's on the Monday night cos I'll be travelling during the 3pms tomorrow and would rather see it than hear Mick Lowes. So buzzing to have football back though, despite the shitty summer it's been. Got some nice bets for the car tomorrow.
  10. For tomorrow: WEST HAM vs Cardiff West Brom vs SOUTHAMPTON Norwich X Everton 20/1 - £2 All the 3pm Championship teams to score (9 games/18 teams) 175/1 - £1 Double Chance bet (all 'or draw') QPR Charlton Blackpool Birmingham Carlisle Peterborough Bradford Notts County Sheff Utd 30/1 - £2
  11. Going to predict "We was on Sky in front of millions, Monday Night Football, and I fink that affected the performance; the players knew the eyes of the world was on them and it meant we wasn't as much of a fret as we can be. We just lacked that certain je ne sais quoi in crucial areas - Loic will give us that."
  12. Single on Blackburn for tonight. 13/8 away at Doncaster seems like a good price.
  13. Someone once told me that if you bet the same amount on every game at a World Cup or Euros to finish 2-2 then it's pretty likely you'll be in profit. Wonder if that would work over a PL season, if someone could do it with like 10p on each game?
  14. Welbeck is heading towards the age where he needs to be the main man somewhere to really progress properly. When the mackems had him on loan he was largely poor, which is fucking funny, but I think if he made 25+ starts this coming season in a 7th-12th placed side he'd really explode as a quality player.
  15. Get in, fucking brilliant news that like. Would have been a lot of people kicking up a fuss if they dumped all the ESPN channels and then asked for extra money to get BT Sport.
  16. Major straw clutch but we must be confident of getting another one in if we're letting him go? Leaves us with Remy, Shola, Gouffran, Cisse. Considering Remy and/or Gouffran will be deployed wide, we need one for the bench, Shola is shite, and cover for inevitable injuries, we're still a player shy IMO. Who's next in the pecking order after that? Vuckic is supposedly on his way out for a loan too, so which reserve prodigy is next? Alex Gillilead, Jonathyn Quinn, Adam Armstrong... need binnsy or someone to maybe shed some light there.
  17. Cabaye is so ineffective in our side I wouldn't be that cut up like, although obviously disappointed. I don't think he's quite the top midfielder he's made out to be; if he was, he'd shine through, even in our turgid set-up. Doesn't matter who replaces him, attacking midfielder or whatever, they'll be shoulder to shoulder with Steven Taylor every week in any case.
  18. £1 on Cleverley FGS @ 16/1 Goals Galore Belgium vs France Portugal vs Netherlands Italy vs Argentina Wales vs Republic of Ireland £2.50 on @ 10/1 £1 on Gerrard FGS + England win 2/1 @ 40/1 £1 on 2-2 draw @ 18/1
  19. ...and solve 3rd world hunger. Been done, Kinnear solved that one years ago.

aye let's write them all off.

    U23s & Academy

Whey, I don't think he'll be long term in the U21s. He's played 60 seconds of football all summer, he needs the minutes. I imagine he'll get a one or two month loan once the season's settled down, if not he'll be in the first 18 and getting minutes, hopefully.
