I'm actually looking forwards to seeing us play for the first time in ages.

And for Williamson.

Sad thing is, if you don't want Pardew then we could well end up with Plan B as manager: width=270http://www.greenun24.co.uk/polopoly_fs/af_011_ips_v_portsmouth_48_1_1184875!image/2913130359.jpg_gen/derivatives/landscape_630/2913130359.jpg[/img]

Wigan home game 1-0 Man Utd home game free kick Reading home reverse free kick The volley at Villa The curler against Stoke at home 3-0 (also the free kick at Blackburn in the cup but I'm assuming they're talking PL)

Yeah, look! This hat comes right off!

VI's grasp of our language is pretty darn good, same mistake twice in two posts needed pointing out though. Dave will thank me.

"Just imagine you're playing Brighton lads"

Canny. Seems a bit of a short deal though, for someone his age and considering we allegedly paid a cool million for him. We gave Good a much longer deal.

Brad Inman extended loan at Crewe til end of the season.

I'm gonna predict a last minute bid from Liverpool for Andreas Weimann.

or Rob Styles in the relegation season

Can anyone remember Ashley's badly-spelt email all those years ago? "Hi Craigy, hope to have some news for your yellow ticker later! We want some new signigs to parade around Saint Jameses Park. You and you crew can have bacon sandwiches but you'll have to pay for them LOL Mike"

I still think that if we added another striker, Shola would still be on the bench and would still play most games.

Went with Sky's Messi and Ronaldo to score at 5/2.

Find it a bit strange that we're letting Maddison go, he sounded like a good player and every time I've seen him he looks impressive. Unless that's just incorrect from .com

Sterry is the only name I don't vaguely recognise from that team tbf.

Aye, I was a bit annoyed when people started slating Pardew after Benteke scored the pen, that was just about the last thing today you could pin on him. There was always going to be a bit of impetus and pressure from Villa at the start of the half, especially with Agbonlahor's pace and Weimann's energy entering the fray (and the completely anonymous Bent going off anarl), we just had to weather it and we didn't. Mind you, that doesn't excuse the negative subs etc from Pardew once Villa did get that impetus and that belief that suddenly they could get summat. Not at all, he made the wrong call with them. It was an individual mistake that changed the game, though. That needs to be remembered. it was the reaction to said mistake and what came afterwards that has got so many people's knickers (rightly) in a twist, for sure.

That was the sort of bread and butter goal you'd expect him to get all the time when he's fully on form. Delighted for him.

Excellent. Reading's game in hand is Chelsea tomorrow night, not exactly a game in hand. QPR won away at Chelsea you muppet.

He made a naive mistake, now let's see that he learns from it and doesn't make it again. That was the thing I detested most of all about Simpson. Then again, look at the manager. His record of making the same mistake twice doesn't bode well.
