When he was here, his injury record was horrible and he was utilised badly (Makelele role under Roeder with Scotty Parker as our driving force... nothing short of mental). At the moment I'd be more confident in Best or even Xisco to grab us a goal than Lovenkrands. As for Ranger, I think he offers less goal threat but a lot more in open play, make of that what you will.
