The phrase "and that was a goal right from the training ground" is overused... I'd say the first goal was "a goal right from the back garden".
I have this vision of Nolan's lass chucking footballs off the roof for Carroll to flick on and Nolan to hit into a mini-soccer goal by the shed.

He does the Parker spin about twice as fast as Parker can. Keeps the ball so well when we're under pressure, then finds a team-mate. Brilliant in the tackle too. Basically, just what the doctor ordered for our midfield.
Why have Routledge, R.Taylor AND Perch on the bench? Three right sided players ffs, may as well have Ferguson or someone on there who can come onto our left.
