  1. It's worrying just how easily Taylor gets turned. Getting planted on his ass by average players on a regular basis. I honestly think some sort of lessons on how to keep his balance (ballet? ) would do him the world of good. Prefer him to have some defensive coaching first. I don't think he's that bad.

  3. Steven Taylor made Garth Crooks' team of the week. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/score_on_bbci/7631245.stm
  4. Glad Eboue's gone, he's the biggest cunt in the Premier League.
  5. Good to see Luke Young in there, he has been brilliant this season, and consistently so. Surprised no shout for Curtis Davies, mind. I've said all season that I'd like to see Young given a call up. Best right back we have at the minute by quite a bit.
  6. Why the fuck are Cacapa and Xisco on there instead? Fucking pathetic. That's the one I can't understand.
  7. I don't wish him any ill at all but I hope this puts an end to any thought of him ever becoming full time manager. This. I actually mentioned something similar in a conversation yesterday. I think this is my fault.
  8. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1138467/Hot-shot-Taylor-proves-instant-hit-Newcastle.html?ITO=1490 Fewer players can have been welcomed into a new dressing room quite like Newcastle's final transfer window signing Ryan Taylor. The England Under 21 international scored only six goals for Wigan, the club he left this week, but four were against Newcastle, including the sweetly-struck free-kick which won the Boxing Day clash between the teams. 'I got a bit of stick from the lads when I walked in because they said I only came here to stop scoring goals against them,' said Taylor. 'But I've no idea why it happened. It wasn't a case of it's Newcastle and I'm going to score. It was just a fluke.' Boss Joe Kinnear needed bodies and Taylor, out of contract at the end of the season and with negotiations stalling, was an ideal addition as a utility man who can cover the many areas where Newcastle have been weak this season. On top of that, Kinnear offloaded Charles N'Zogbia and Taylor feels he has got the better end of a deal, which also cost Wigan an additional £6million. Wigan may be well clear of the relegation battle that lies ahead for Newcastle but Taylor is convinced he has joined a squad more than capable of pulling away from the drop zone. 'I would say I have made a better move than Charles N'Zogbia,' he said. 'It's a step up. Overall, there is a huge difference in terms of size between the clubs, and with the players we have here it is just as good a squad as Wigan have got. 'This is a massive club with a huge fan base and a fantastic squad. I feel very fortunate to be part of it.' I really want him to score tomorrow, more than anyone else in the squad. Dunno why like.

  10. I thought SKY had one another one back, giving them five and leaving Setanta with one?
  11. Nile Ranger and Jose Enrique Sanchez Diaz are now friends.
  12. NUFC: Shearer by a long way. Beye, Martins, Albert, Solano and Speed to a lesser extent. Non-NUFC: Henry, brilliant footballer. Vidic and Lampard are also up there too, along with Carrick.
  13. No, he got it the right way round. He's playing him in goal this weekend with Harper moving to central midfield.

    The return of Lawro

I like the way he fails to mention the character shown and the overall performance in the second half.
  15. if we were challenging for europe, and still in the fa cup.. maybe.. in a relegationbattle. i think not Doesn't matter what situation we're in. If you're good enough, you're old enough.
