Perfect opponents for a must-win. That was a 1-0 score masquerading a 5-0 performance. Domination, we just have to keep doing it. We can be bloody good when we want to be!
-
And yeah, Townsend has been good so far. Was shocking on Wednesday. Don't think the comparison was too far off, though.
-
That was brilliant but I wish we'd bother to do that more often. Just hope we don't regret scoring only one. Chuffed for Mitrovic

Proper hate this from Leicester
-
I'm staying out of this, mate.
-
I'm a big Brenda fan, like. Would love him here.
-
He'd be stupid, considering Liverpool and Chelsea will be back for him in the summer. They'll all make him rich.
-
And, as funny as this is, we need him to beat Swansea at the weekend. Just like when they lost to Sunderland and Bournemouth......
-
So we're back at that time of the season - the first of 4 or 5 absolutely must-win games (some of which are away). That horrible stomach feeling is back. This, combined with Villa-Norwich, has a huge potential points swing. The difference between fighting and being completely done. I think it'll be a 1-1 draw tbh, just like last season. Elliot Janmaat - Taylor - Coloccini - Dummett Sissoko - Shelvey - Wijnaldum - Aarons Mitrovic - Doumbia

"Have to be better" - this bloke knows his stuff.
-
Imagine hiring a manager who does such a shit job that you have to spend £30m in January, then gets you relegated anyway.
-
He'll be livid. Would hate to be McClaren right now. HAHAHA
-
I don't actively want us to go, but there'll definitely be some silver linings if we do. It'll upset Ashley, he might finally realise how important managers are and - hopefully - we'll see the back of certain gutless individuals. We need a firesale.
-
After just allowing him to bring in those players? No chance. The club know best remember. Never even considered binning Pardew, and had no plans for him leaving. Spending that money and sacking McClaren all comes from the same place - Ashley's fear of missing the TV money. Ashley must've been shitting himself to spend so much. McClaren isn't safe, he wants that money no matter what.
-
Can't wait to get rid of these players, like. Some of them are good when they turn up but they're just 11 individuals - make as many signings as you like, they still can't work as a team or create ANYTHING. 8.5
-
He's tactically void, he can't motivate. He has nothing. As shocking as the players are out there, McClaren must take a huge portion of the blame. And I think he's in real danger if we don't beat West Brom.
-
Just like transfers, lets hope Ashley has changed his mindset. He's so desperate for next year's money, McClaren isn't safe.
-
I love the fella but it's becoming harder and harder for me to defend him every week. These misses.... he's really not helping himself.
-
On paper we were good - a few class players - then we added a few more. But they're just awful. 11 individuals, with nothing resembling teamwork. Pundits, Freddy Shepherd etc can all say we'll now be fine but that's absolute bullshit. Moronic passing, no attacking threat whatsoever. No, we have nothing.
-
We can beat these.
-
Cuntface, it's February and you're still in the relegation zone. You're a fucking shit manager, and we don't even know if you know how to make use of all these players (the jury's still out on the signings themselves). The squad as we have it should be nowhere near 18th. Maybe 16th, but definitely not 18th. Far, far away from 18th..... like 16th
-
Not a single mention there. Pardew gets away with it again.
-
The reality of Bournemouth winning hasn't hit yet, but it's fucking glorious watching Pardew go off the rails. Magical. It's almost as if we know what we're talking about. As if we're not deluded southern-hating mags. Maybe, just maybe, our four-year judgement was based on truth.
