  1. Considering we didn't bother inserting wage drops, I doubt it.
  2. Aye, they bought players like Lescott, Cahill and Jagielka for pennies and made huge money on Rooney etc.
  3. We need someone inspirational who the players respect. Because of this, I'd rather we risk a Seedorf than Moyes.
  4. And it's not like we've got wingers anyway, we may as well push Gini into the centre like he should be. I'd definitely try wing backs if it wasn't for the complete lack of left-sided options.
  5. Only 10 played, scraped 40pts with captain Sanchez doing his hamstring. If I don't do 4 transfers next week, I won't be able to get a team out

The first three have been decent so far, the most problematic players are the ones who've either been here for a while or were chucked in because we were too tight to replace a player - Coloccini, Sissoko, Dummett, Tiote, Colback (Pardew's choice), Cisse.
  7. 7 points so far this week, although only 4 have played. Thing is, I think only 9 or 10 are going to play - Rojo and Mitrovic have already not played, Coutinho may not, Hoolahan rotates and Targett is there to make up the numbers. Just like with NUFC, each week sinks to a new low that I didn't think was possible. Definitely my worst FPL season ever.
  8. NO POINT PICKING A TEAM BECAUSE THESE SHITHEADS WON'T EVEN TRY It'll either be a 5 or 6-0, or we'll do the usual 'step up against a big team but narrowly lose'. Either way, we're shit.
  9. I think the only chance of fixing this mess is to take a couple of steps backwards. Having said that, is our current situation really forwards?!?! Our squad needs a mass cull, relegation will trigger it.
  10. First off, Sissoko, Perez, Mitrovic, Wijnaldum, Janmaat, Krul, Coloccini, Thauvin and Cisse will be out of the door. Then it's 50/50 whether Anita, Mbemba, De Jong, Tiote have to stay. I'm not convinced they'll have buyers. That leaves us with Darlow, Elliot, Lascelles, Dummett, Haidara, Williamson, Taylor, Colback, Aarons, Ameobi, Obertan, Gouffran and Armstrong.

That's such an easy excuse. It's true, though. As I say, he still deserves blame for having Thauvin, Cabella, Riviere etc on those lists to begin with.
  12. To the surprise of millions

    Graham Carr

Thing is, we don't know how far down the list these were. Especially with a tight-fisted Ashley. Having said that, almost all recent signings have been shocking and he deserves a chunk of the blame.

    Positives?

I honestly don't think there is one. We can't defend, we can't create, we can't try. Even if the likes of Colo, Sissoko and Dummett finally get dropped we have no-one to replace them with. We have absolutely nothing.
  15. De Bruyne FINALLY delivering, betting heartbreak and a 1-5 mauling to Alan Pardew. What a day
  16. The next few days will be unbearable. He's a media expert.
  17. Every week I think it won't get worse and it always does. I honestly don't see any positives either today or going forward. Scum in every direction, no hope whatsoever. But I am starting to see that relegation is our best chance of healing. 16th/17th every year is awful, we have to have a mass cull both on and off the pitch.
  18. All we can count on is Sunderland, Bournemouth, Villa and Norwich keep losing. That isn't sustainable.
  19. Taking De Bruyne went well. At least Micah Richards scored.
  20. This side has absolutely nothing about them. Suicidal defending, an inability to pass, shocking crosses, no desire, no intent. Not a single box is ticked and we're without doubt going down, unless some monumental change happens.
